Abstract

Until recently, the Covid 19 virus has been responsible for a global epidemic. Since the virus first appeared in Wuhan in early December 2019, there have been 74.4 million confirmed cases globally, of which 42 million people have recovered and 1,657,706 patients have died. The first verified incidence of COVID 19 in Indonesia occurred on March 2, 2020, in Depok, West Java, where transmission happened through two persons who were infected with the virus and had previously had direct contact with foreign citizens who had caught the corona virus. Indonesia is a country in Southeast Asia, There are 636 thousand confirmed cases, 552 thousand of whom have recovered, 19,248 of whom have died as a result of the COVID-19 virus, and over 500 health professionals have perished as a result of COVID-19. COVID-19, As a result of the background's appearance, As a result, we took the initiative to develop an isolation bed chamber to prevent COVID-19 transmission from patients to healthcare personnel.
Through this internship program, we are under the guidance of Mr. Djoko Kuswanto ST, M. Biotec, Faizal Rezki Dhafin S.Ds and we have 4 members namely: Ravi Alva Kurnia Sandy (102117100100), Achmad Rizal Ibadurahman (10211710010042), M Iqbal Askhaaf 102117100100, Miftahul Huda (10211710010057) To design this isolation bed chamber, we plan to use the CAD method and in making frame connections using addictive manufacturing 3d printer technology to make the bed chamber frame, then trial and error on the bedchamber frame structure, testing leakage and negative pressure in the isolation chamber, and a direct evaluation with the user.
During the 4-month internship, a prototype bed chamber isolation was created with a capacity of 1 covid patient and proportions of a typical hospital bed with a negative pressure chamber isolation chamber – 2 bar and a static frame.
