Abstract

Pembangunan rumah pompa pada area perkotaan bertujuan untuk mengalirkan genangan air yang telah ditampung pada saluran drainase menuju saluran pembuangan yang letaknya lebih tinggi melalui pengoperasian pompa drainase. Dalam aplikasinya, sampel bangunan rumah pompa pada tugas akhir ini berlangganan suplai tenaga listrik dari PLN dengan perjanjian kontrak biaya minimum selama 40 jam pemakaian yang berakibat pada tetap tingginya biaya tagihan listrik yang harus dibayar meskipun terjadi penurunan frekuensi penggunaan pompa drainase pada saat musim kemarau. Disisi lain, berkembangnya teknologi Mobile Energy Storage System (MESS) yang dapat terintegrasi dengan grid serta opsi penggunaan genset sebagai suplai tenaga listrik utama merupakan sebuah alternatif solutif untuk mengatasi permasalahan terkait manajemen energi pada bangunan rumah pompa. Oleh karena itu pada tugas akhir ini akan dibahas lebih lanjut terkait kelayakan masing-masing opsi suplai daya berdasarkan analisa power balance pada perangkat MESS yang telah didesain, sizing kapasitas genset berkaitan dengan rating capacity pompa drainase, serta analisis aspek ekonomi yang lebih mendalam seperti simple payback period, NPV, dan ROI melalui perhitungan capital cost, O&M cost, dan total revenue atau penghematan yang akan didapatkan. Berdasarkan hasil simulasi, diketahui bahwa opsi suplai daya PLN dengan integrasi MESS beserta pola operasinya tidak layak untuk diterapkan karena tidak memiliki payback period dan menghasilkan NPV serta ROI < 0, yakni sebesar - Rp. 4.671.292.302 dan - 61,25%. Disisi lain penggunaan genset sebagai opsi suplai daya utama memiliki total capital cost dan O&M cost yang lebih rendah jika dibandingkan dengan sistem suplai daya eksisting, yakni sebesar Rp. 1.244.977.980 berbanding Rp. 1.646.072.176 dengan payback period selama 12,5 tahun, sehingga opsi ini dianggap layak untuk diimplementasikan pada sampel bangunan rumah pompa yang diteliti.

The construction of pump house building in urban areas aims to drain the puddles that have been collected in drainage pool to the sewer or river which is located higher then drainage pool through the operation of drainage pump. In its application, the sample of pump house building in this research have choosed main power source (SDL) from PLN which have minimum fee payment agreement for 40 hours of electricity consumption, as a result the electricity bills remains high despite a reduction in the use of drainage pump in dry season. On the other hand, the development of Mobile Energy Storage System (MESS) technology that can be integrated with grid and the use of generator set (genset) as the main power source is an alternative solution to solve the problem related to energy management in pump house buildings. Therefore, this research will be discussed further about the feasibility of each main source option based on power balance analysis on the MESS device that has been designed, sizing genset capacity related to drainage pump rating capacity, as well as further economic analysis such as payback period, NPV, and ROI, through the calculation of capital cost, O&M cost, and total revenue or saving that will obtained. So based on the simulation result, its known that the use of PLN as main power source with MESS integration according to their operating pattern is not feasible to be implemented because it doesn’t have a payback period and produce an NPV also ROI < 0, which has nominal - Rp. 4.671.292.302 and – 61,25%. On the other side, the use of genset as main power source option has a lower total capital cost and O&M cost when compared to PLN as existing main power source, which is Rp Rp. 1.244.977.980 compared to Rp. 1.646.072.176 with a payback period of 12,5 years. As a result, the use of genset as main power source on the sample of pump house building in this research is feasible and profitable to be implemented.
