Abstract

CV Archindo Jaya Sidoarjo adalah salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang pengolahan kertas corrugated menjadi kardus. Evaluasi kualitas yang dilakukan perusahaan saat ini belum dilakukan analisis kualitas statistik yang detail karena hanya melihat apakah karakteristik kualitas produk single wall sudah memenuhi batas spesifikasi, oleh karena itu dilakukan analisis kapabilitas proses yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas produk yang dihasilkan. Untuk itu dilakukan pengamatan terhadap kualitas single wall pada bulan April 2021 dianggap sebagai fase I dan hasil dari analisis fase I digunakan sebagai dasar pengamatan pada bulan Mei 2021 yang dianggap sebagai fase II. Hasil analisis kualitas produk pada fase I maupun fase II dengan menggunakan peta kendali p sudah terkendali secara statistik tetapi belum kapabel karena nilai ppk (%) sebesar 0,403 dan pp (%) sebesar 0,5267 pada fase I, sedangkan fase II nilai ppk (%) sebesar 0,4467 dan pp (%) sebesar 0,5633, walaupun terjadi peningkatan kualitas secara signifikan, oleh karena perlu dilakukan perbaikan pada faktor manusia dan metode.

CV Archindo Jaya Sidoarjo is a company engaged in the
processing of corrugated paper into cardboard. The quality evaluation
carried out by the company currently has not carried out a detailed
statistical quality analysis because it only sees whether the quality
characteristics of the single wall product have met the specification limits,
therefore an analysis of the process capability is carried out which is
expected to improve the quality of the product produced. For this reason,
observations on the quality of the single wall in April 2021 are considered
as phase I and the results from phase I analysis are used as the basis for
observations in May 2021 which are considered phase II. The results of
the analysis of product quality in phase I and phase II using the p control
chart are statistically controlled but not yet capable because the value is%
