Abstract

Untuk mencegah kecelakaan kerja, diperlukan suatu Sistem Manajemen Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (SMK3) yang mengatur dan dapat menjadi acuan bagi konsultan, kontraktor dan para pekerja kontruksi. Dengan demikian tenaga kerja merasa aman dan tenang dalam melakukan pekerjaannya, yang secara tidak langsung para pekerja akan termotivasi untuk menjalankan pekerjaannya dengan baik. Hal tersebut membuat proyek konstruksi yang nantinya dapat menunjang dalam peningkatan kualitas proyek konstruksi dalam proses pembangunan.
Hal tersebut secara tidak langsung menunjukkan ada hubungan antara peningkatan K3 dengan peningkatan kualitas pada hasil proyek kontruksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi sistem K3 terhadap kualitas proyek dan hubungan antara keduanya pada Proyek Konstruksi Bangunan Gedung di Surabaya.
Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dengan wawancara dan menyebar angket (kuesioner) terhadap responden yang bekerja pada perusahaan Proyek Kontruksi Bangunan Gedung di Surabaya dengan pengalaman di bidang konstruksi bangunan bertingkat tinggi (high rise building). Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis korelasi yang digunakan untuk menjawab permasalahan yang ada.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor yang mempengaruhi sistem K3 adalah Sistem Manajemen Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (SMK3), manajemen/ supervisi, kondisi fisik dan mental, persyaratan peraturan, perencanaan awal, dan desain. Sedangkan faktor yang mempengaruhi kualitas proyek yaitu biaya tambahan dan pekerjaan ulang. Kecelakaan kerja berkorelasi positif terhadap kualitas proyek pad Proyek Kontruksi Bangunan Gedung di Surabaya, dengan demikian dapat diartikan bahwa semakin tinggi klasifikasi dari kualitas proyek konstruksi tersebut maka semakin tinggi pula peluang terjadinya kecelakaan kerja.

To prevent work accidents, a safety and health management systems is needed which regulates and can be a reference for consultants, contractors and construction workers. Thus the workforce feels safe and calm in doing their work, which indirectly the workers will be motivated to do their job well. This makes construction projects that can later support the improvement of the quality of construction projects in the development process.
This indirectly shows that there is an indirect relationship between improving safety and health and improving the quality of the results of construction projects. This research aims to identifying factors that influence the safety and health system on the quality of the project and the relationship between them in the Building Construction Project in Surabaya.
The data collection method used is by interviewing and distributing questionnaires to respondents who work at a building construction project company in Surabaya with experience in the field of high rise building construction. The data analysis method uses descriptive analysis and correlation analysis which is used to answer the existing problems.
The results showed that the factors affecting the safety and health systems is the safety and health management systems, management/supervision, physical and mental conditions, regulatory requirements, the initial planning and design. While the factors that affect the quality of the project are additional costs and rework. Work accidents have a positive correlation with project quality the Building Construction Project in Surabaya City, thus it can be interpreted that the higher the classification of the quality of the construction project, the higher the chance of work accidents.
