Abstract

PT. PLN merupakan perusahaan yang menyediakan jasa kelistrikan di Indonesia. Agar kontinuitas listrik tetap terjaga PT. PLN area Lahat menambahkan Distributed Generator pada jaringan listriknya. Dengan adanya penambahan Distributed Generator maka koordinasi proteksi pada PT. PLN area Lahat perlu dievaluasi kembali. Koordinasi proteksi yang tepat dibutuhkan agar kontinuitas sistem kelistrikan dapat terjaga dan gangguan yang terjadi dapat diamankan secara selektif dan akurat. Peralatan proteksi yang digunakan pada PT. PLN area Lahat adalah Fuse Cut Out dan Overcurrent Relay / rele arus lebih. Fuse merupakan peralatan proteksi yang digunakan pada transformator distribusi dan saluran cabang pada jaringan distribusi sedangkan rele arus lebih digunakan untuk merasakan gangguan hubung singkat yang terjadi dan mengirimkan sinyal pada Circuit Breaker / Pemutus Tenaga. Koordinasi antara rele primer dan rele backup perlu diperhatikan agar ketika rele primer gagal bekerja mengisolasi gangguan maka rele backup dapat mengisolasinya sesuai dengan Coordination Time Interval (CTI) yang dipilih. Pada praktiknya perhitungan nilai TDS rele arus lebih inverse dengan cara manual membutuhkan waktu yang cukup lama. Agar perhitungan nilai TDS dapat dicapai lebih cepat maka pada tugas akhir ini akan digunakan algoritma Adaptive Modified Firefly Algorithm untuk mendapatkan nilai TDS yang minimum dan terkoordinasi antar rele.

PT. PLN is a company that provides electricity services in Indonesia. In order to maintain electricity continuity, PT. PLN Lahat area added a Distributed Generator to its electricity network. With the addition of a Distributed Generator, coordination protection at PT. PLN Lahat area needs to be re-evaluated. Proper coordination protection is needed so that the continuity of the electrical system can be maintained and disturbances that occur can be secured selectively and accurately. The protective equipment used at PT. PLN Lahat area is Fuse Cut Out and Overcurrent Relay. Fuse is a protective equipment used in distribution transformers and branch lines in distribution networks, while overcurrent relays are used to sense short circuit disturbances that occur and send signals to Circuit Breakers. The coordination between the primary relay and the backup relay needs to be considered so that when the primary relay fails to isolate the fault, the backup relay can isolate it according to the selected Coordination Time Interval (CTI). In practice, calculating the TDS value of the inverse overcurrent relay manually takes a long time. So that the calculation of the TDS value can be achieved faster, in this final project, the Adaptive Modified Firefly Algorithm will be used to obtain the minimum and coordinated TDS value between relays.
