Abstract

Analisis performansi multibeam echosounder EM304 dilakukan untuk mengetahui kualitas data hasil penginderaan akustik bawah air yang diolah pada perangkat lunak SwathEd. Multibeam Echosounder EM304 merupakan jenis multibeam terbaru dari seri multibeam echosounder EM302 yang memiliki frekuensi 24-34kHz. Kegiatan pengambilan data dilakukan dengan kapal K.R. Baruna Jaya 3 milik BPPT (Badan Pengkajian dan Penerapan Teknologi) pada tanggal 11 Januari 2021 di perairan di sekitar Pelabuhan Tanjung Priok. Perairan tersebut memiliki kedalaman berkisar 22-97 meter. Hasil pengolahan batimetri setelah dilakukannya metode cleaning dan gridding terdapat kekosongan data yang diakibatkan oleh pengaturan swath angle pada saat perekaman data yang berakibat tidak optimalnya beam obtains pada pengiriman pulsa ke permukaan dasar laut. Sedangkan, pada pengolahan data kolom air setelah dilakukan metode penentuan nilai threshold dan pencarian nilai LIM (Local Intensity Maxima) terdapat terdapat sebuah artefak pada data kolom air yang membuat kolom air terbagi menjadi 4 sektor. Lalu, pada pengolahan data hambur balik setelah dilakukan metode koreksi TVG (Time Varrying Gain ) dan koreksi Slant Range dihasilkan nilai intensitas sebesar -56 s/d -12 dB. Berdasarkan sebaran nilai tersebut, didapatkan bahwa nilai intensitas yang tinggi cenderung berada di tengah nadir dengan nilai intensitas sebesar -15 s/d 12 dB. ================================================================================================ Performance analysis of the multibeam echosounder EM304 was carried out to determine the quality of the underwater acoustic sensing data processed on the SwathEd software. The Multibeam Echosounder EM304 is the latest type of multibeam from the multibeam echosounder EM302 series which has a frequency of 24-34kHz. Data collection activities were carried out by the K.R. Baruna Jaya 3 belonging to BPPT (Agency for the Assessment and Application of Technology) on January 11, 2021 in the waters around Tanjung Priok Port. These waters have a depth ranging from 22-97 meters. The results of bathymetry processing after the cleaning and gridding methods contained data caused by the angle setting when recording data which resulted in the non-optimal beam being obtained in sending pulses to the seabed surface. Meanwhile, in the water column data processing, after using the threshold assessment method and finding the LIM (Local Intensity Maxima) value, there is an artifact in the water column data that makes the water column divided into 4 sectors. Then, in processing the backscattered data after correcting TVG (Time Varrying Gain) and the slope correction range, the intensity value is -56 to -12 dB. Based on the distribution of these values, it is found that high intensity values tend to be in the middle of the nadir with an intensity value of -15 to 12 dB.
