Abstract

Perencanaan produksi dibutuhkan oleh perusahaan untuk mengetahui
jumlah produksi. Jumlah WIP mempengaruhi pembuatan perencanaan produksi.
Permasalahan yang terjadi pada perusahaan adalah WIP yang terlalu besar sehingga
mengakibatkan kerugian. Penyebab utamanya adalah karena kurangnya koordinasi.
Permasalahan kurangnya koordinasi terjadi antara departemen PPC dan produksi
mengakibatkan permasalahan seperti, kesalahan material dan jumlah produksi.
Akar masalah kurangnya koordinasi adalah pencatatan yang menggunakan kertas,
dan PPC terlambat untuk melakukan review mengenai hasil produksi. Untuk
mengatasi hal tersebut maka dibuat sistem manajemen shop floor. Adanya sistem
manajemen shop floor bertujuan departemen PPC dan produksi terintegrasi, dan
data secara real time. Hasil implementasi sistem manajemen shop floor adalah
permasalahan kurangnya koordinasi dapat berkurang, dikarenakan informasi dapat
tersalurkan dengan baik dan real time antar departemen. Karena permasalahan
koordinasi berkurang maka produksi berjalan dengan lancar dan jumlah WIP bulan
Juni 2021 berkurang sebesar 80% apabila dibandingkan tahun sebelumnya. Selain
itu hasil lainnya adalah membantu membuat kebijakan make to stock, membantu
aktivitas stok opnam karena mengetahui posisi barang lebih detail, penggunaan
kertas berkurang, dan value added karyawan terhadap aktivitas produksi bertambah

Production planning is needed by the company to determine the amount of
production. The number of WIP affects the making of production planning. The
problem that occurs in the company is that the WIP is too large, resulting in losses.
The main cause is a lack of coordination. Coordination problems occurred between
the PPC and production departments causing problems such as, material errors and
production quantities. At the root of the coordination problem was paper-based
record keeping, and PPC was late to review production results. To overcome this,
a shop floor management system was created. The existence of a shop floor
management system aims to integrate PPC and production departments, and data in
real time. The result of implementing a shop floor management system is that the
lack of coordination can be reduced, because information can be distributed
properly and in real time between departments. Due to the reduced need for
coordination, production runs smoothly and the number of WIPs in June 2021 is
reduced by 80% compared to the previous year. In addition, other results are helping
to make stock making policies, helping stock taking activities because they know
the position of goods in more detail, paper usage is reduced, and employee value
added to production activities is increased.
