Abstract

Economic Dispatch adalah masalah yang umum ditemui dalam dunia sistem tenaga, terutama distribusi tenaga listrik. Ada beberapa metode atau teknik lama yang digunakan untuk mengelesaikan permasalahan ED, contohnya adalah metode gradien, metode iterasi lambda, pemrograman linier, pemrograman kuadrat, metode pengganda Lagrange, dan teknik klasik berdasarkan persamaan koordinasi. Multi-area Economic Dispatch (MAED) merupakan pengembangan dari Economic Dispatch. MAED menentukan tingkat pembangkit dan pertukaran daya antar daerah, sehingga total biaya bahan bakar di semua daerah dibatasi ketika memenuhi batasan dari keseimbangan daya, menghasilkan batasan-bahasan dari kendala dan kapasitas tie-line. Penyelesaian MAED dengan metode Modified Flower Pollination Algorithm akan dibandingkan dengan penyelesaian MAED dengan metode Flower Pollination Algorithm.

Economic Dispatch is a common problem encountered in power systems, especially electric load distribution. There are several old methods or techniques that are used to solve ED problems, for example the gradient method, lambda iteration method, linear programming, quadratic programming, Lagrange multiplier method, and some classic methods based on coordinates equations. Multi-Area Economic Dispatch (MAED) is derived from Economic Dispatch. MAED determines the generator rate and exchange of loads between areas, so that the total fuel cost in all areas is restricted while meeting the constraints of the balanced loads, resulting in the constraints of tie-line capacity and constraints. Solving MAED problem using Modified Flower Pollination Algorithm method will be compared with MAED problem using Flower Pollination Algorithm method.
