Abstract

Latar Belakang: PT. XYZ merupakan perusahaan produsen kembang gula yang didirikan pada tahun 1997. Salah satu produknya yaitu permen jahe telah diekspor hingga mancanegara. PT. XYZ terus mengembangkan kualitas produksinya agar mampu menghasilkan produk permen jahe yang berkualitas, aman dikonsumsi, dan menyehatkan. PT. XYZ memiliki departemen Engineering yang akan bertanggung jawab terkait perbaikan mesin produksi permen jahe. Perbaikan mesin produksi tersebut mencakup pencatatan dan pengolahan permintaan perbaikan mesin produksi yang masuk. Laporan perbaikan yang telah terpenuhi dicatat dalam dokumen laporan perbaikan mesin produksi.
Permasalahan: PT. XYZ telah menerapkan implementasi Workflow Management System (WfMS) ProcessMaker pada proses bisnis perbaikan mesin produksi. Implementasi WfMS menghasilkan sistem yang dapat megintegrasikan formulir, pengisian otomatis nomor formulir, menghubungkan formulir dengan tabel basis data, dan fitur untuk dapat melihat kondisi terkini dari suatu pengajuan perbaikan. Menurut siklus hidup Business Process Management (BPM) masih perlu dilakukan pemantauan terhadap implementasi WfMS ProcessMaker untuk mengidentifikasi masalah yang ada dan kemungkinan perbaikan.
Tujuan: Pemantauan dilakukan untuk melihat kinerja proses bisnis perbaikan mesin produksi. Hasil pemantauan menunjukkan kinerja proses bisnis dan aktivitas yang menghambat proses perbaikan mesin produksi.
Metode: Metode yang digunakan untuk melakukan pemantauan adalah process mining. Process mining akan dilakukan dalam empat tahap, yaitu: identifikasi data, ekstraksi data, strukturisasi data, dan penggalian proses berdasarkan algoritma Fuzzy Miner dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak Disco.
Hasil: Hasil penelitian tugas akhir ini adalah pada proses perbaikan mesin produksi ditemukan beberapa case yang tidak sesuai SOP, terdapat aktivitas yang memiliki proses yang membutuhkan durasi waktu yang lama, dan terdapat beberapa kendala yang dapat menghambat proses perbaikan mesin produksi. Pada penelitian tugas akhir ini diberikan saran dan rekomendasi yang dapat digunakan PT. XYZ untuk melakukan perbaikan terhadap kinerja proses perbaikan mesin produki.
Manfaat: Manfaat yang dari penelitian tugas akhir adalah mengembangkan ilmu pengetahuan dalam melakukan process mining untuk melakukan pemantauan proses bisnis yang didapat dari WfMS ProcessMaker dan dapat mengidentifikasi kesesuaian antara proses bisnis dengan SOP perusahaan serta dapat mengidentifikasi aktivitas yang menghambat proses bisnis.

Context: PT XYZ is a confectionery company that was founded in 1997. One of its products, namely ginger candy, has been exported to foreign countries. PT XYZ continues to develop the quality of its production in order to be able to produce quality ginger candy products, safe for consumption, and healthy. PT XYZ has an Engineering department that will be responsible for repairing the ginger candy production machine. The repair of production machines includes recording and processing incoming production machine repair requests. Repair reports that have been fulfilled are recorded in the production machine repair report document.
Problems: PT XYZ has implemented the Workflow Management System (WfMS) ProcessMaker in the production machine repair business process. The implementation of WfMS produces a system that can integrate forms, auto-fill form numbers, connect forms with database tables, and features to be able to view the current condition of a proposed improvement. According to the Business Process Management (BPM) life cycle, it is still necessary to monitor the implementation of WfMS ProcessMaker to identify existing problems and possible improvements.
Objective: Monitoring is carried out to see the performance of the production machine repair business process. The monitoring results will show the performance of business processes and activities that hinder the process of repairing production machines.
Method: The method used for monitoring is process mining. Process mining will be carried out in four stages, namely: data identification, data extraction, data structuring, and extracting processes based on the Fuzzy Miner algorithm using Disco software.
Results: The results of this final project are that in the process of repairing production machines, several cases were found that were not in accordance with the SOP, there were activities that had processes that required a long duration of time, and there were several obstacles that could hinder the process of repairing production machines. In this final project, suggestions and recommendations that can be used by PT. XYZ to make improvements to the performance of the production machine repair process.
Benefits: The benefits of this final project research are developing knowledge in process mining to monitor business processes obtained from WfMS ProcessMaker and can identify the suitability between business processes and company SOPs and can identify activities that hinder business processes.
