Abstract

Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Gelombang Laut tipe Point Absorber adalah tipe yang memanfaatkan pelampung pada permukaan air sebagai penggerak generator. Untuk mempelajari cara kerja, besar teganga, arus dan daya yang dihasilkan dibuat prototipe. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan variasai jumlah magnet 17, 22, 27 buah dengan resistansi 120 dan 240 ohm. Prototipe dengan tinggi 21 cm dengan diameter 60 mm dan pelampung yang berbentuk donat berdiameter 7 cm dengan ketebalan 3 cm. Dari penelitian ini didapatkan tegangan dan arus tertinggi pada variasi magnet berjumlah 27 buah dengan besar resistansi 120 ohm. Nilai tegangan dan arus tertinggi adalah (215,5±5,3) mV dan arus sebesar (3,2±0,1) mA dengan daya yang dihasilkan (393,8±17,8) mW dan (1318,9±111,9) mW.====================================================================================================
The Point Absorber type of Ocean Wave Power Plant is the type that utilizes a float on the surface of the water as a generator drive. To learn how it works, the resulting voltage, current and power are prototyped. In this study, the number of magnets was varied 17, 22, 27 with resistances of 120 and 240 ohms. The prototype has a height of 21 cm with a diameter of 60 mm and a donut-shaped float with a diameter of 7 cm and a thickness of 3 cm. From this study, it was found that the highest voltage and current in the magnetic variation amounted to 27 pieces with a large resistance of 120 ohms. The highest value of voltage and current is (215.5±5.3) mV and current of (3.2±0.1) mA with the resulting power (393.8±17.8) mW and (1318.9±111 ,9) mW.
