Abstract

Snakehead Fish Extract (LEIG) powder waste from PT. Royal Medicalink Pharmalab has a protein content of 55.80% - 58.87%, it can be processed into shrimp feed products. LEIG shrimp feed was fermented for 24 hours with a combination of basic ingredients: fish meal K.1 (50:50), K.2 (45:55), K.3 (40:60) which were tested in vivo on L. vannamei for 30 days. The absolute growth data will be analyzed using one-way ANOVA. Proximate analysis was carried out on shrimp feed and meat. The results showed that the feed produced the highest protein was the K.3 with value 51.21%. The highest protein content in L. vannamei meat was found in K.3 treatment with a value of 5.68% with weight gain 0,92 gram. Physical tests carried out during the study showed that commercial shrimp feed still better than LEIG feed: speed, sinking speed and hardness values. The lowest FCR value was found in K.3 treatment.
