Abstract

Kegiatan Praktikum memiliki peran penting dalam pendidikan teknik.
Khususnya pada pendidikan vokasi yang memiliki sistem pengajaran dengan rasio
60% praktek dan 40% teori. Akan tetapi pada pandemi COVID-19 saat ini terdapat
himbauan untuk menjaga jarak (Physical Distancing) yang juga mengakibatkan
mahasiswa tidak dapat melakukan pengajaran serta prakikum secara langsung.
Virtual Live Streaming Simulator memungkinkan user untuk mengakses dan
berinteraksi dengan alat praktikum tmelalui layanan Live Streaming. Pada Tugas
Akhir ini plant yang digunakan adalah Plant Pengendalian Level Air. Pada plant ini
terdapat webcam yang akan terhubung kepada website menggunakan live streaming
service.. Serta web server digunakan untuk menghubungkan user dengan komputer
yang alat pengendalian level, sehingga user dapat mengubah nilai setpoin dan dapat
memonitoring variebel proses dari website. Tahap rancang bangun sistem ini dibagi
dua yaitu rancang bangun sistem interface dan sistem live streaming pada web. Dan
berikutnya pengujian digunakan untuk mengetahui performasi alat. dan tahap
pengujian Virtual Live-Streaming Simulator ini terletak pada akses Live-Streaming
dan interaksi client dengan Plant Pengendalian Level Air. Data yang akan diambil
adalah data performasi jaringan sistem tersebut dan data tersebut digolongkan berdasarkan standar ITU-T G.114.

Practicum activities have an important role in technical education. Especially in
vocational education which has a teaching system with a ratio of 60% practice and
40% theory. However, in the current COVID-19 pandemic, there are calls for
physical distancing which also results in students not being able to do direct
teaching and practicum. Virtual Live Streaming Simulator allows users to access
and interact with practicum tools through the Live Streaming service. In this final
project, the plant used is the Water Level Control Plant. In this plant, there is a
webcam that will be connected to the website using a live streaming service. And
the web server is used to connect the user to a computer that is a level control device,
so that the user can change the setpoint value and can monitor the process variables
of the website. The system design stage is divided into two, namely the design of
the interface system and the live streaming system on the web. And then the
characterization stage is used to determine the performance of the tool. and the
testing phase of this Virtual Live-Streaming Simulator lies in Live-Streaming
access and client interaction with the Water Level Control Plant. The data to be
retrieved is the system latensi data.
