Abstract

Minat masyarakat Indonesia dalam mengenal dan mempelajari sejarah cukup minim, kebanyakan masyarakat Indonesia sudah melupakan pengaruh sejarah khususnya kerajaan pada perkembangan Indonesia, padahal selain perjuangan pahlawan nasional, kerajaan di Indonesia juga berperan penting terhadap sejarah Indonesia. Oleh karena itu, penulis ingin meningkatkan awareness masyarakat Indonesia dengan memperkenalkan perdagangan maritim Kerajaan Sriwijaya sebagai Kerajaan maritim terbesar di Asia Tenggara. Dikarenakan pengaruh media digital yang kian meningkat, maka dengan pengembangan mobile game ini diharapkan dapat memperkenalkan sejarah Kerajaan Sriwijaya secara interaktif dan menyenangkan. Demi mendapatkan hasil perancangan yang tepat sasaran, Perancangan ini menggunakan studi eksperimental untuk menentukan gameplay, melakukan depth interview dengan praktisi Mobile Game dan Ahli Sejarah, Observasi artefak, prototyping, studi eksisting, studi literatur mengenai sejarah Kerajaan Sriwijaya sebagai kerajaan maritim, serta playtesting pada praktisi Mobile Game dan juga target audien. Seluruh hasil penelitian akan di rumuskan menjadi konsep desain dan konsep gameplay. Konsep gameplay menggunakan tema “living in history” dimana pemain dapat mempelajari sejarah dengan cara seakan hidup dalam sejarah yaitu sejarah maritim Kerajaan Sriwijaya. Dengan adanya Mobile Game ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan awareness terhadap sejarah dan juga minat masyarakat untuk mempelajari sejarah melalui media yang interaktif dan menyenangkan. ===================================================================================================== The interest of the Indonesian people in knowing and studying history is quite minimal, most Indonesian people have forgotten the influence of history, especially the kingdom on the development of Indonesia, even though besides the struggle of national heroes, the kingdom in Indonesia also played an important role in Indonesian history. Therefore, the author wants to increase the awareness of the Indonesian people by introducing the maritime trade of the Sriwijaya Kingdom as the largest maritime kingdom in Southeast Asia. Due to the increasing influence of digital media, the development of this mobile game is expected to introduce the history of the Sriwijaya Kingdom in an interactive and fun way. In order to get the right design results, this design uses experimental studies to determine gameplay, conducting depth interviews with Mobile Game practitioners and historians, observing artifacts, prototyping, existing studies, studying literature on the history of the Sriwijaya Kingdom as a maritime kingdom, and playing test on practitioners. Mobile Game and also the target audience. All research results will be formulated into design concepts and gameplay concepts. The gameplay concept uses the theme "living in history" where players can learn about history in a way that is living in history, namely the maritime history of the Sriwijaya Kingdom. With this Mobile Game, it is hoped that it can increase awareness of history and also the public's interest in studying history through interactive and fun media.
