Abstract

Penentuan biaya pengiriman paket ditentukan oleh nilai terbesar diantara berat dan volume paket. Pengukuran berat dan volume paket sebagian besar masih dilakukan secara manual dan terpisah. Dengan demikian dirancanglah sebuah teknologi pengukuran dimensi dan volume paket untuk jasa ekspedisi yang dilengkapi dengan IoT (Internet of Things). Rancang bangun dimulai dengan pengukuran dimensi paket oleh tiga jenis Sensor Ultrasonik dan berat yang diukur oleh Sensor Load Cell. Hasil pengukuran akan diproses oleh Arduino Mega2560 dan dikirimkan ke NodeMCU 8266 menggunakan komunikasi serial kemudian disimpan dalam database MySQL sehingga dapat ditampilkan pada website. Dari tiga jenis sensor yang digunakan, pengukuran yang cukup baik adalah pengukuran oleh sensor JSN-SR04T dengan rata-rata error pengukuran pada kubus atau balok 1,92% dan akurasi 98,08%. Rata-rata error pengukuran pada tabung 2,58% dan akurasi 97,42%. Serta Rata-rata error pengukuran pada bola 1,69% dan akurasi 98,31%. Dengan demikian apabila melakukan pengukuran gabungan menggunakan sensor ultrasonik maka sensor yang direkomendasikan adalah sensor JSN-SR004T.

The determination of the cost of sending the package is determined by the largest value between the weight and volume of the package. The measurement of the weight and volume of the package is still mostly done manually and separately. Thus, a technology for measuring the dimensions and volume of packages was designed for expedition services equipped with IoT (Internet of Things). The design begins with the measurement of the dimensions of the package by three types of Ultrasonic Sensors and the weight measured by the Load Cell Sensor. The measurement results will be processed by Arduino Mega2560 and sent to NodeMCU 8266 using serial communication and then stored in a MySQL database so that it can be displayed on the website. Of the three types of sensors used, the measurement that is quite good is the measurement by the JSN-SR04T sensor with an average measurement error of 1,92% cube or beam and 98,08% accuracy. The average measurement error on the tube is 2.58% and the accuracy is 97.42%. And the average measurement error on the ball is 1.69% and the accuracy is 98.31%. Thus, when performing combined measurements using an ultrasonic sensor, the recommended sensor is the JSN-SR004T sensor.
