Abstract

Generasi muda merupakan prioritas utama penerus suatu negara. Keadaan negara di masa mendatang sangat bergantung pada kualitas generasi muda yang ada. Sehingga pendidikan dinilai sangatlah penting karena hal tersebutmmenjadi kunci untuk sarana dalam membimbing generasi muda saat ini agar mencapai suatu kualitas yang baik.
Dalam mewujudkan pendidikan yang baik, semangat generasi muda dalam belajar menjadi faktor yang penting. Untuk mewujudkannya, SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Surabaya memiliki kurikulum khusus dalam mengembangkan bidang minat dari masing-masing siswanya. Hal ini diterapkan pada pemberian pilihan mata pelajaran peminatan untuk siswanya mengembangkan minat mereka selama satu tahun di jenjang kelas 2 SMA. Dengan observasi, diketahui bahwa desain interior SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Surabaya dapat dikembangkan untuk mengoptimalkan dan mendukung sistem kurikulum khusus ini dalam mewujudkan generasi muda yang berkualitas di bidangnya.
Berdasarkan analisis dan metodologi yang telah dilakukan terhadap objek desain, diperoleh perencanaan desain interior SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Surabaya yaitu Passionate Interactive. Diharapkan dengan diterapkannya konsep ini, interior yang turut berpengaruh besar terhadap kegiatan dan aktivitas siswa dapat memberikan pengaruh positif dalam segala aspek kreativitas hingga semangat belajar dalam mendalami bidang minatnya.

Young generation is the main priority for the successor of a country. The state of the country in the future is very dependent on the quality of the young generation. So that, education is very important because it is the key for guiding today's young generation to achieve their quality.
In realizing good education, the enthusiasm of the younger generation on learning something are very important. To make it happen, Muhammadiyah 2 Surabaya High School has a special curriculum in developing the interest of each student. This is applied to the provision of a choice of specialization subjects for students to develop their interests for one year at their second year on high school. With observations, it is known that the interior design of Muhammadiyah 2 Surabaya High School can developed a support for this special curriculum system in creating quality of young people in their fields.
Based on the analysis and methodology that has been carried out on the design object, it is obtained that the interior design plan of Muhammadiyah 2 Surabaya High School is Passionate Interactive. It is hoped that with the application of this concept, the interior which has a major influence on student activities can have a positive influence in all aspects of creativity to the enthusiasm for learning and exploring their own fields.
