Abstract

Pemilihan vendor menjadi salah satu aktivitas utama dalam bagian purchasing, dimana purchasing memiliki peran yang besar dalam mempengaruhi tingkat daya saing perusahaan. Tak hanya itu, kegiatan evaluasi kinerja vendor pun memiliki peran yang tidak kalah penting nya dengan kegiatan pemilihan vendor. Maka dari itu, pemilihan vendor dan evaluasi kinerja vendor sangat penting bagi perusahaan. Hal itu dikarenakan kontribusi dan performansi yang diberikan oleh vendor akan mempengaruhi produk atau layanan jasa yang akan diterima oleh pelanggan. Dalam melakukan pemilihan vendor, tentunya dibutuhkan beberapa kriteria yang dapat dijadikan indikator penilaian. Hingga saat ini, perusahaan yang menjadi objek amatan penelitian belum memiliki sistem atau model pemilihan vendor, sehingga pemilihan vendor dilakukan secara manual yang hanya mempertimbangkan 3 aspek, yaitu harga yang terjangkau, availabilitas, serta kapabilitas vendor. Akibatnya, masih terdapat tingkat keterlambatan pengiriman sekitar 25% dan defect rate product sebesar 7% - 8% berdasarkan data 3 tahun terakhir. Maka dari itu, penelitian ini bertujuan dalam mengembangkan sistem pemilihan vendor terbaik dan evaluasi kinerja vendor dengan menggunakan integrasi metode DEMATEL, ANP, dan TOPSIS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya hubungan cause dan effect antar kriteria dengan nilai pembobotan terbesar diperoleh pada kriteria kualitas dan menghasilkan Vendor 1, Vendor 2, serta Vendor 4 dan Vendor 5 yang dapat menjadi alternatif vendor terbaik bagi perusahaan. Tak hanya itu, hasil penelitian juga mampu menggambarkan bagaimana performansi kinerja pada setiap vendor perusahaan dimana tiap vendor memiliki kelebihan dan kekurangan pada subkriteria tertentu yang akan berdampak pada performansi perusahaan

Vendor selection is one of the main activities in the purchasing department, where purchasing has a major role in influencing the level of competitiveness of the company. Not only that, vendor performance evaluation has a role that is no less important than vendor selection activities. Vendor performance evaluation activities can improve vendor selection more optimally. Therefore, vendor selection and vendor performance evaluation are very important for companies to do. It is because the vendor's contribution and performance will affect the product or service that will be received by the customer. In vendor selection, several criteria are needed as the assessment indicators. However, the company (object observation) does not have a vendor selection system, so vendor selection is done manually which only considers 3 aspects; affordable prices, vendor availability, and vendor capabilities. As a result, there are still delays of delivery about 25% and product defect rate of 7% - 8% based on data for the last 3 years. Therefore, this study aims to develop the best vendor selection system and vendor performance evaluation using the DEMATEL, ANP, and TOPSIS integration methods. The results show that there is a cause and effect relationship between criteria with the greatest weighting value obtained on the quality criteria and show that Vendor 1, Vendor 2, and Vendor 4 and Vendor 5 are the best alternative vendors for the company. Not only that, the results of the study is also able to describe how the performance of each vendor which every vendor has their own strength and weakness in certain subcriteria that will have an impact to the company's performance.
