Abstract

Alur Pelayaran Pelabuhan Belawan merupakan akses yang digunakan kapal yang akan sandar dan berlayar dari pelabuhan belawan. Pelabuhan Belawan sendiri merupakan pelabuhan terbesar yang ada di Pulau Sumatera sehingga banyak kapal dengan draft besar yang masuk pelabuhan tersebut. Dibutuhkan sebuah pemeliharaan alur pelayaran dengan cara akustik agar kedalaman dari alur tersebut tetap terjaga. Pengolahan data batimetri pada penelitian ini menggunakan perangkat lunak Qimera dan data hasil pengolahan di ekspor dalam format (.TIFF). Data tersebut selanjutnya diolah pada perangkat lunak Arc GIS untuk pembuatan peta alur pelayaran dan perhitungan volume pengerukan. Uji ketelitian data batimetri berdasarkan IHO S44 edisi ke-6 yang dihitung menggunakan microsoft excel. Datum vertikal dihitung menggunakan metode least square pada perangkat lunak MatLab. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedalaman alur pelayaran pelabuhan belawan berada diantara -5 hingga -10,8 meter berdasarkan low water spring (LWS). Kedalaman alur yang direncanakan oleh pihak pengelola pelabuhan (PT. Pelindo I) adalah -9 m LWS. Berdasarkan perhitungan pengerukan dengan luas area sebesar 1.330.719

Ship cruise line of Belawan Port is the access used by
ships that will dock and sail from the Belawan port. Belawan
port itself is the largest port on the island of Sumatra so that
many ships with large drafts enter the port. It takes
maintenance of the ship cruise line by an acoustic method so
that the depth of the channel is maintained. Bathymetric data
processing in this study using Qimera software and the
processed data is exported in (.TIFF) format. The data is then
processed in the Arc GIS software for making shipping lane
maps and calculating the volume of dredging. The
bathymetric data accuracy test is based on the 6th edition of
IHO S44 which is calculated using Microsoft Excel. The
vertical datum is calculated using the least square method in
MatLab software. The results showed that the depth of the
Belawan port shipping lane was between -5 to -10.8 meters
based on the low water spring (LWS). The depth of the
channel planned by the port management (PT. Pelindo I) is -
9 m LWS. Based on the calculation of dredging with an area
of 1,330,719 m2
, the dredging volume results in the amount of 2,309,145 m3
. The bathymetric data accuracy test shows
that the accuracy of the data in this study belongs to the
second order. These results indicate that measuring a depth
of water using a multibeam echosounder does not necessarily
produce data that has special order or first-order accuracy.
