Abstract

Chromolaena odorata L. merupakan tanaman gulma yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai obat tradisional. Tanaman ini terbukti memiliki kandungan senyawa metabolit sekunder yang melimpah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengisolasi senyawa metabolit sekunder dari ekstrak metanol fraksi diklorometana daun C. odorata. Fraksinasi senyawa dilakukan menggunakan metode kromatografi kolom gravitasi (KKG). Penentuan struktur senyawa dilakukan dengan karakterisasi 1H NMR dan 13C NMR. Hasil dari penelitian ini diperoleh senyawa di(2-etilheksil) ftalat sebanyak 22,6 mg.

Chromolaena odorata L. is a weed plant that can be used as a traditional medicine. This plant is proven to contain abundant secondary metabolites. This study aimed to isolate secondary metabolites from the methanol extract of the dichloromethane fraction of C. odorata leaves. Fractionation of compounds was carried out using the gravity chromatography column (GCC) method. The structure of the compound was determained by characterization of 1H NMR and 13C NMR. The amount of di(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate as much as 22.6 mg.
