Abstract

Pentingnya dilakukan inovasi untuk meningkatkan kualitas garam salah satunya menggunakan metode hidroekstraksi. Hingga saat ini belum dilakukan pengembangan teknologi pemurnian garam menggunakan metode hidroekstraksi dimana salah satu proses dari metode hidroekstraksi yaitu proses pencampuran. Perancangan sistem pencampuran untuk proses pemurnian garam dimulai dari perancangan desain hardware dan software. Selain itu dilakukan pula perancangan sistem otomatisasi untuk melakukan pengendalian secara otomatis terhadap aktuator yang digunakan yaitu solenoid valve dan motor DC. Sistem pengukuran pada alat ini menggunakan sensor ultrasonik HC-SR04 yang berfungsi untuk mengukur volume pada tangki larutan garam dengan rata-rata koreksi pengukuran 0,5, rata-rata error 0,17%, dan nilai akurasi sebesar 95,3%. Pengukuran volume pada tangki garam dengan rata-rata koreksi pengukuran 0,05, rata-rata error 0,039%, dan nilai akurasi sebesar 94,5%, serta pengukuran level pada tangki pencampuran dengan rata-rata koreksi pengukuran 0,5, rata-rata error 0,06%, dan nilai akurasi sebesar 95%. Data hasil monitoring sensor akan ditampilkan pada display berupa LCD dan dapat diakses pada smartphone melalui aplikasi Blynk.

The importance of innovation to improve the quality of salt is one of them using the hydro-extraction method. Until now, the development of salt purification technology using the hydro-extraction method has not been carried out where one of the processes of the hydro-extraction method is the mixing process. The design of the mixing system for the salt purification process starts from the design of hardware and software designs. In addition, an automation system design is also carried out to automatically control the actuators used, namely solenoid valves and DC motors. The measurement system on this tool uses an ultrasonic sensor HC-SR04 which functions to measure the volume in the salt solution tank with an average measurement correction of 0.5, an average error of 0.17%, and an accuracy value of 95.3%. Measurement of volume in the salt tank with an average measurement correction of 0.05, an average error of 0.039%, and an accuracy value of 94.5%, as well as a level measurement in a mixing tank with an average measurement correction of 0.5, an average error 0.06%, and an accuracy value of 95%. Sensor monitoring data will be displayed on an LCD display and can be accessed on a smartphone via the Blynk application.
