Abstract

PLTU Tanjung Jati B, located in Jepara Regency, Central Java, is one of the largest power station in Indonesia which has been operating since 2006. PLTU as a National Vital Object has established an Education Facility Building or Visitor Center as the company's public communication strategy.
The Energo TJB Educenter Electricity Education Facility is an educational museum that bridges visitors to find out about the electrical processing industry in the PLTU. Although not yet operational, most of the exhibition systems in the TJB Educenter Energo Education Facility use a two-dimensional graphic image display. This affects the depth of material content because it is limited by the size of the print media. Therefore we need a renewal of the interior concept to support the optimization of the material in the museum in an educative and recreational way. The update was carried out with a design method in the form of observation, interviews and literature studies related to the object of research.
The application of the concept Edutainment with Projection Mapping is one way to increase user interest and nuance immersion so that they are able to create visualization attractions for the presentation of unlimited content in an educative and recreational manner. It is hoped that through the TJB Educenter Energo design, people will be wiser in using electricity and understand the potential of renewable energy in Indonesia.
