Abstract

Telah dilakukan identifikasi asam asetat dalam campuran asam asetat-etanol menggunakan gugusan sensor gas. Gugusan sensor gas merupakan salah satu metode identifikasi gas yang cepat karena tidak memerlukan preparasi sampel. Penelitian dilakukan secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Uji kualitatif dilakukan dengan mengolah data output sensor dari amonia, asam asetat, aseton, dan etanol untuk mengetahui sensitivitas sensor dalam mengidentifikasi senyawa yang berbeda, sedangkan uji kuantitatif menggunakan campuran asam asetat-etanol untuk mengetahui sensitivitas sensor dalam mengidentifikasi satu senyawa dengan perbedaan variasi konsentrasi. Metode klasterisasi data yang digunakan adalah Principal Component Analysis, K-Means clustering, dan Agglomerative Clustering. Sedangkan metode klasifikasi data yang digunakan adalah Decision Tree, dan Naïve Bayes. Hasil PCA, K-Means, dan Agglomerative Clustering menunjukkan bahwa masing-masing senyawa terpisah sementara hasil klasifikasi dapat memprediksi data test dengan baik. Pada uji kuantitatif, PCA, K-Means, dan Agglomerative Clustering menunjukkan senyawa dapat terpisah sesuai variasinya dan klasifikasi memprediksi data test dengan baik. Metode klasterisasi dan klasifikasi data yang diterapkan dapat digunakan untuk pattern-recognition sinyal dari gugusan sensor gas. ================================================================================================ Identification of acetic acid in acetic acid-ethanol mixture using gas sensor array has been done. Gas sensor array is a rapid gas identification method since it does not need any sample preparation. This research was done qualitatively and quantitatively. Qualitative test was carried out by processing the sensor output of ammonia, acetic acid, acetone, and ethanol to find out the sensor sensitivity in identifying different compounds, while qualitative test aims to determine the sensitivity of the sensor in distinguishing one compound with concentration variations using acetic acid-ethanol mixture. The clustering methods used in this research were Principal Component Analysis, K-Means, and Agglomerative Clustering. While, the classification method that applied in this research were Decision Tree and Naïve Bayes. PCA, K-Means, and Agglomerative Clustering results show that each compound were well separated, while the classification results show that the prediction fits the data test. In the quantitative test, PCA, K-Means, and Agglomerative Clustering showed each mixture variation are well separated and classification method predicted the test data well. Hence, clustering and classification can be used for pattern-recognition of gas sensor.
