Abstract

Surabaya merupakan salah satu kota yang saat ini gencar menerapkan konsep Smart City. Berbicara tentang Smart City maka akan berhubungan dengan energi, bahkan seluruh mahluk hidup di muka bumi ini pasti memerlukanya. Manusia sebagai mahluk sempurna ciptaan tuhan memiliki peranan penting dalam peradaban dunia, tak terkecuali dalam penggunaan energi. Sebagai upaya mewujudkan smart city dengan melakukan penghematan energi, maka dibutuhkan suatu sistem untuk pemantauan yaitu berupa penggunaan energi satu pintu dan efisien. Sistem tersebut diarahkan untuk aplikasi Smart Building yang menunjang Smart Energy atau Monitoring energy consumption dalam rangka Smart City. Monitoring Energy Consumption ini berbasis WSN(Wireless Sensor Network) dengan menggunakan arduino dan LoRa. Output dari sistem ini adalah sebuah data penggunaan energy dalam suatu ruangan dimana dari data tersebut dapat dilakuakan analisis penggunaan energi. Setelah itu munculah rekomendasi atau action plan yang harus dilakukan berdasarkan hasil analisis. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian prototipe yang menggunakan Arduino dan LoRa Shield 868Mhz didapatkan sebuah kesimpulan bahwa semakin bertambahnya jarak antara LoRa transmitter dengan LoRa receiver maka data yang terkirim juga akan semakin kecil nilainya, hal ini disebabkan oleh kemampuan dari jangkauan LoRa itu sendiri.

Surabaya is one of the cities that is currently aggressively implementing the Smart City concept. Talking about Smart City, it will be related to energy, even all living things on this earth definitely need it. Humans as perfect creatures created by God have an important role in world civilization, not least in the use of energy. As an effort to realize a smart city by saving energy, a system for monitoring is needed, namely in the form of one-door and efficient energy use.
The system is directed at Smart Building applications that support Smart Energy or Monitoring energy consumption in the context of Smart City. This Energy Consumption monitoring is based on WSN (Wireless Sensor Network) using Arduino and LoRa. The output of this system is a data on energy use in a room where from the data an analysis of energy use can be carried out. After that, a recommendation or action plan appears that must be carried out based on the results of the analysis. Based on the results of the prototype test, which uses Arduino and LoRa Shield 868Mhz it was concluded that as the distance between the LoRa transmitter and the LoRa receiver increases, the data sent will also decrease in value, this is due to the ability of the LoRa range itself.
