Abstract

Penelitian ini menyajikan metode untuk penilaian kondisi kompresor aliran aksial untuk menentukan: Besarnya dan lokasi degradasi akibat adanya fouling. Sebuah analisis sederhana terhadap stage stacking metode digunakan pada penelitian ini, yang meliputi analisa terhadap dampak kekasaran sudu pada aliran massa, intake depression,rasio tekan,rasio temperatur dan efisiensi. Performa dari kompresor pada kondisi bersih dengan asumsi bilah yang halus secara hidrodinamik dihitung pada penelitian ini,menggunakan baseline geometri, pengaruhkekasaran permukaan blade kompresor di bagian depan, tengah dan belakang stage dihitung untuk simulasi pada kondisi kompreosor aksial yang kotor. Data empiris untuk peningkatan total kehilangan tekanan dan penyimpangan putaran yang lebih besar yang terjadi karenakondisi blade yang kasar . Analisis ini menunjukkan bahwa pengotoran airfoil terjadi pada stage yang berbeda-beda, menghasilkan karakteristik aerothermodynamic, dan karenanya proses pengotoran ini bisa dilokalisasi oleh besarnya berbagai koefisien yang berpengaruh. Fouling yang terjadi di front stages memiliki dampak yang paling besar terhdap penurunan kinerja fouling,dan fouling cenderung tinggi pada stages awal dan akan semakin menurun sepanjang kompresor aksial. ========================================================= This study presents a method for assessing the condition of axial flow compressors to determine: The magnitude and location of degradation due to fouling. A simple analysis of the stage stacking method is used in this study, which includes an analysis of the impact of blade roughness on mass flow, , intake depression, pressure ratio, temperature ratio and efficiency. The performance of the compressor in clean conditions with the assumption of smooth blades hydrodynamically is calculated in this study, using a geometric baseline, the effect of surface roughness of the compressor blades at the front, middle and rear stages of the stage is calculated for simulation on dirty (fouled) axial compressor conditions. Empirical data for increased total pressure loss and larger rotational deviations that occur due to rough blade conditions. This analysis shows that airfoil fouling occurs at different stages, resulting in aerothermodynamic characteristics, and therefore this fouling process can be localized by the magnitude of the various influential coefficients. Fouling that occurs in the front stages has the greatest impact on decreasing fouling performance, and fouling tends to be high in the early stages and will decrease throughout the axial compressor.
