Abstract

Perencanaan bangunan bawah atau pondasi suatu struktur bangunan harus mempertimbangkan beberapa hal diantaranya jenis pondasi, kondisi sekitar dan struktur tanah. Pembangunan gedung Suncity Residence Apartemen Sidoarjo terdiri dari 30 lantai menggunakan jenis pondasi tiang pancang. Berdasarkan kondisi lingkungan sekitar, kawasan Suncity Residence Sidoarjo berada di area padat penduduk. Proses pemancangan tiang pancang menimbulkan masalah yang menyebabkan belasan rumah retak, nyaris roboh, dan bergeser hingga 5-10 cm pada rumah warga sekitar.
Pada Proyek Akhir ini direncanakan pondasi bore pile pada tanah lempung sebagai desain alternatif dari struktur bawah gedung Suncity Residence Apartemen. Struktur bangunan atas 30 lantai tersebut dimodelkan dengan program bantu ETABS untuk memperoleh gaya reaksi pada dasar bangunan. Perhitungan daya dukung pondasi bore pile dipilih berdasarkan nilai terkecil antara metode Reese dan O’Neill (1999) dan metode Skempton (1966). Perencanaan pondasi dilakukan dengan memperhatikan penurunan pondasi kelompok yang terjadi pada pondasi desain alternatif bore pile dan pondasi eksisting spun pile. Penurunan tiang kelompok diambil dari nilai penurunan segera (immediate settlement) dan penurunan konsolidasi (consolidation settlement).
Dari perhitungan yang telah dilakukan diperoleh kapasitas dukung tanah ultimit (Qultimit) menggunakan metode Skempton (1966) yang dihitung berdasarkan 3 data tanah dengan tiang bore pile berdiameter 800 mm pada kedalaman 52 meter sebesar 5323.49 kN (area B2), 4407.40 kN (area B3), dan 3466.89 kN (area B4). Penurunan maksimum pondasi desain alternatif bore pile didapatkan pada PC82 sebesar 9,41 cm telah memenuhi penurunan izin. Jika dibandingan dengan dengan pondasi eksisting spun pile, penurunan maksimum terjadi pada PC90 sebesar 21,63 cm tidak memenuhi penurunan izin sebesar 17,6 cm.

Planning the substructure or foundation of a building structure must consider several things, including the type of foundation, surrounding conditions and soil structure. The construction of the Suncity Residence building in the Sidoarjo Apartment consists of 30 floors using a type of pile foundation. Based on the surrounding environmental conditions, the Suncity Residence Sidoarjo area is in a densely populated area. The piling process caused problems that caused dozens of houses to crack, almost collapsed, and shifted up to 5-10 cm in the houses of local residents.
In this final project, bore pile foundation is planned on clay soil as an alternative design for the sub structure of the Suncity Residence Apartment building. The structure of the 30-story building was modeled using the ETABS program to obtain the reaction forces at the base of the building. Calculation of the bearing capacity of the bore pile foundation was chosen based on the smallest value between the Reese and O'Neill method (1999) and the Skempton method (1966). Foundation planning is carried out by considering the settlement in group foundations that occur in the alternative design foundations of bore piles and existing spun pile foundations. The settlement of group pile is taken from the value of the immediate settlement (immediate settlement) and the consolidation settlement).
From the calculations that have been carried out, the ultimate soil bearing capacity (Qultimit) using the Skempton method (1966) is calculated based on 3 soil data with a bore pile pile with a diameter of 800 mm at a depth of 52 meters of 5323.49 in (area B2), 4407.40 kN (area B3)., and 3466.89 kN (area B4). The maximum settlement of the alternative bore pile design foundation obtained at PC82 of 9.41 cm has fulfilled the settlement permit. When compared with the existing spun pile foundation, the maximum settlement occurred at PC90 of 21.63 cm, not meeting the permit settlement of 17.6 cm.
