Abstract

Wilayah pesisir Kota Cilacap memiliki peran penting dalam peningkatan perekonomian warga Cilacap. Salah satunya adalah industri energi yang berada di wilayah pesisir Cilacap. PLTU Adipala berperan penting sebagai penyedia listrik untuk seluruh area Jawa Tengah. Karena lokasi PLTU yang berada di wilayah pesisir, menimbulkan berbagai macam permasalahan. Salah satu permasalahan yang terjadi adalah adanya sedimentasi di daerah dermaga dan alur pelayaran PLTU Adipala. Hal tersebut mengakibatkan terganggunya proses pengiriman batu bara. Selain itu adanya gelombang laut yang besar juga menyebabkan terganggunya laju kapal yang ingin menuju dan meninggkalkan area dermaga PLTU Adipala. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan kajian mengenai fenomena hidrodinamika dan transport sedimen untuk mengetahui penyebab permasalahan dan solusi yang perlu diterapkan untuk mengatasinya. Penelitian yang akan dilakukan yaitu dengan melakukan simulasi pergerakan pola arus, gelombang dan transport sedimen menggunakan pada perairan di sekitar PLTU Adipala. Hasil pemodelan kondisi eksisting selama 1 bulan menunjukkan volume sedimen di kolam labuh saat musim barat sebesar 271.947 m3, sedangkan hasil pemodelan setelah adanya bangunan groin menunjukkan volume sedimen di kolam lauh PLTU sebesar 46.529 m3. Pada model yang disimulasikan pada musim timur selama 1 bulan dengan kondisi eksisting menunjukkan volume sedimen di kolam labuh PLTU sebesar 56.027 m3, sedangkan hasil pemodelan setelah adanya bangunan groin menunjukkan volume sedimen di kolam lauh PLTU sebesar 46.984 m3. Berdasarkan hasil dari simulasi model di kolam labuh PLTU menunjukkan pengurangan sejumlah volume sedimentasi karena adanya bangunan groin.

The coastal area of Cilacap City has an important role in improving the economy of Cilacap residents. One of them is the energy industry located in the coastal area of Cilacap. PLTU Adipala plays an important role as a provider of electricity for the entire Central Java region. Because the location of the power plant is in a coastal area, it causes various kinds of problems. One of the problems that occurs is the presence of sedimentation in the pier area and shipping lanes of PLTU Adipala. This resulted in the disruption of the coal delivery process. In addition, the presence of large sea waves also disrupts the speed of ships that want to go to and leave the PLTU Adipala pier area. Therefore, it is necessary to study the hydrodynamic phenomena and sediment transport to find out the causes of the problems and solutions that need to be applied to overcome them. The research that will be carried out is by simulating the movement of current, wave and sediment transport patterns using the waters around the Adipala PLTU. The results of modeling the existing conditions for 1 month showed that the sediment volume in the anchored pond during the west season was 271,947 m3, while the modeling results after the groyne building showed the sediment volume in the PLTU's inshore pond was 46,529 m3. In the model that is simulated in the east monsoon for 1 month with existing conditions, the sediment volume in the PLTU anchored pool is 56,027 m3, while the modeling results after the groyne building shows the sediment volume in the PLTU anchor pool is 46,984 m3. The results of the model simulation in the PLTU anchorage pool show a reduction in the amount of sedimentation due to the groyne building.
