Abstract

Pertumbuhan eceng gondok yang merajalela dan perlunya pengerukan sedimen di Rawa Pening menjadi latar belakang dilakukannya penelitian ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan sebuah desain kapal kerja pembersih eceng gondok yang sekaligus bisa digunakan untuk mengatasi sedimentasi di Rawa Pening yang memiliki luas area 2.020 ha. Proses desain diawali dengan menghitung laju pertumbuhan eceng gondok dengan bantuan google earth dari tahun 2017-2020, Kapal diperkirakan selesai dibangun pada 2023. Target pembersihan eceng gondok menurut Kementrian PUPR minimal 1 hektar per hari, target pembersihan eceng gondok pada penelitian ini 1,6 hektar per hari sehingga telah memenuhi target minimal dan pembersihan eceng gondok diperkirakan selesai pada 2027. Penentuan ukuran utama menggunakan metode geosim prosedure. Sistem pembersihan eceng gondok dilakukan dengan conveyor sedangkan proses unloading dilakukan dengan grab bucket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kapal pembersih yang berlambung katamaran dan berpenggerak paddle wheel dengan ukuran utama L = 12,3 m, B = 7 m, H = 1,739 m, T = 0,83 m ini dapat digunakan untuk membersihkan eceng gondok di Rawa Pening dan mampu mengurangi sedimentasi sebesar 20%. Mesin penggerak utama kapal ini memiliki daya sebesar 2x21,3 kW yang dapat menggerakkan kapal dengan kecepatan dinas 5 knot. Kapal yang didesain telah memenuhi kriteria freeboard minimal sesuai NCVS, memenuhi kriteria trim sesuai SOLAS Chapter II-1 Part B-1 dan memenuhi kriteria stabilitas sesuai Rules BKI for Small Vessels 2021 ================================================================================================ The high growth of water hyacinth and the need for dredging sediments in Rawa Pening are the background of this research. This study aims to produce a design for a water hyacinth cleaning workboat that can also be used to deal with sedimentation in Rawa Pening which has an area of 2,020 ha. The design process begins with calculating the growth rate of water hyacinth using Google Earth from 2017-2020. The ship is estimated to be completed in 2023. The target for cleaning water hyacinth according to the Ministry of PUPR is at least 1 hectare per day, the target for cleaning water hyacinth in this study is 1.6 hectares. per day so that it has met the minimum target and the cleaning of water hyacinth is estimated to be completed in 2027. Determination of the main dimension using geosim procedure methode. The water hyacinth cleaning system is carried out by a conveyor while the unloading process is carried out by grabbing buckets. The results showed that the cleaning vessel with catamaran hull and paddle wheel driven with main dimensions L = 12.3 m, B = 7 m, H = 1.739 m, T = 0.83 m can be used to clean water hyacinth in Rawa Pening and able to reduce sedimentation by 20%. The main propulsion engine of this ship has a power of 2x21.3 kW which can move the ship at a service speed of 5 knots. The designed ship has met the criteria of minimum freeboard according to NCVS, met the criteria of trim according to SOLAS Chapter II-1 Part B-1 and met the stability criteria according to Rules BKI for Small Vessels 2021
