Abstract

Separator tiga fasa berfungsi memisahkan fluida campuran dari sumur menjadi minyak, air, dan gas. Pada separator tiga fasa, level minyak dan air harus dijaga konstan sesuai setpoint melalui sistem pengendalian level. Salah satu kendala dalam pengendalian level pada separator adalah adanya disturbance yang berasal dari fluktuasi debit fluida dari aliran masuk. Sistem pengendalian dengan pendekatan feedback kurang optimal dalam mengantisipasi adanya disturbance. Cara mengantisipasi disturbance adalah dengan menambahkan pendekatan feedforward. Namun, pendekatan feedforward konvensional terlalu berpatokan pada permodelan matematis, padahal model matematis tidak mungkin sepenuhnya akurat. Salah satu pendekatan yang tidak terlalu bergantung pada permodelan matematis adalah logika fuzzy. Pada penelitian ini, pengendalian level dengan pendekatan feedback feedforward fuzzy berhasil diterapkan pada miniplant separator tiga fasa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pendekatan feedback feedforward fuzzy berhasil membuat sinyal kontrol menjadi lebih stabildibanding pendekatan feedback fuzzy, dengan nilai rise timesebesar 785,19 detik, settling time sebesar 1170,8 detik, maximum overshoot sebesar 2,39%, dan steady state error sebesar 0,41%.

The function of three phase separator is separating the mixed fluid from well, to be separated fluids, which are oil, water, and gas. Oil and water level should be maintained at the setpoint with level control system. The obstacle in level control is the disturbance from the flowrate fluctuation at the inlet pipe. Feedback approach isn’t good enough to anticipate disturbance. The strategy to anticipate disturbance is by adding feedforward approach. However, the conventional control is dependent to mathematical model, while mathematical model isn’t completely accurate. The method that doesn’t rely on mathematical model is fuzzy logic approach. In this paper, the feedback feedforward fuzzy logic approach has been applied in three phase separator miniplant. The performance analysis shows that feedback feedforward fuzzy PI is more stable than feedback fuzzy PI control, with rise time 785.19 s, settling time 1170.8 s, maximum overshoot 2.39%, and steady state error 0.41%.
