Abstract

Sepeda motor skuter merupakan moda transportasi yang paling diminati di Indonesia. Sebanyak 87,2% dari total penjualan domestik sepeda motor pada 2019 didominasi oleh jenis skuter. Akhir-akhir ini juga banyak diberlakukan peraturan-peraturan baru yang mendukung tren elektrifikasi kendaraan, salah satunya yaitu Perpres No. 55 Tahun 2019 yang mengatur tentang Percepatan Program Kendaraan Bermotor Listrik Berbasis Baterai (Battery Electric Vehicle) untuk Transportasi Jalan. Dengan adanya tren ini banyak perusahaan-perusahaan yang mulai memproduksi sepeda motor listrik. Namun karena masih kurang berkembangnya teknologi dan fasilitas penunjang, kendaraan ini kurang diminati oleh pengguna sepeda motor di Indonesia, sehingga perlu adanya inovasi agar teknologi tersebut dapat dinikmati oleh semua kalangan. Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan studi komparasi produk (benchmarking), wawancara dengan pengguna skuter, dan membuat peta pengalaman pengguna (user journey map) sehingga dapat memetakan kebutuhan dan preferensi pengguna pada sepeda motor listrik yang akan dikembangkan. Pada akhir penelitian dihasilkan desain skuter listrik untuk perkotaan yang mengikuti selera dan ergonomi orang Indonesia pada sisi desain, dan memiliki varian serta fitur yang menjawab kelompok kebutuhan untuk berkendara jarak jauh, menengah, dan membawa barang.

Scooter motorbikes are the most popular transportation mode in Indonesia. As many as 87.2% of the total domestic sales of motorbikes in 2019 were dominated by scooters. Recently, many new regulations have been implemented to support the trend of vehicle electrification, one of which is the Presidential Decree No. 55 of 2019 which regulates the Acceleration of the Battery Electric Vehicle Program for Road Transportation. With this trend, many companies have started producing electric motorbikes. However, due to the underdevelopment of technology and supporting facilities, this vehicle is less attractive to motorbike users in Indonesia. Therefore it is important to have an innovation so that this technology can be enjoyed by all groups of people. The method used is a product comparison study (benchmarking), interviews with scooter users, and making a user journey map so that the writer can map the needs and preferences of users on the electric motorbikes to be developed. At the end of the research, an electric scooter design for urban areas that follows the tastes and ergonomics of Indonesians is produced, and has variants and features that answer the group's needs for long-distance, medium-distance riding, and carrying goods.
