Abstract

Dalam pelayarannya kapal akan menerima banyak beban yang salah satunya adalah
gaya tekan atas air laut. Ketika menerima beban tersebut struktur kapal akan
memberikan respon pada kapal yang berupa tegangan dan lenturan. Respon ini
berbahaya bagi kapal jika melebihi batasan yang diijinkan. Untuk mengetahui
seberapa besar respon tersebut perlu dilakukan perhitungan kekuatan memanjang.
Dalam tahap perencanaan kapal diasumsikan dalam kondisi air tenang dan gelombang
dengan kondisi even keel. Pada kenyataannya, baik dalam tahap perencanaan maupun
operasional kapal sulit mendapatkan kondisi even keel. Oleh karena itu perlu
dilakukan perhitungan kekuatan memanjang pada kapal dalam kondisi trim. Dalam
penelitian ini akan dilakukan perhitungan kekuatan memanjang pada kondisi trim
haluan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari adanya trim tersebut pada perhitungan
kekuatan memanjang kapal. Selain itu dilihat juga apakah hasil perhitungan kekuatan
memanjang yang telah dikoreksi dengan menggunakan koreksi linear dan non linear
dapat mendekati hasil ketika kondisi even keel dan trim. Berdasarkan hasil
perhitungan yang diperoleh dapat dinyatakan kapal akan mengalami momen lengkung
dan gaya lintang yang mengecil dengan membesarnya kondisi trim kapal. Hasil dari
koreksi linear mempunyai keakuratan yang lebih baik untuk memperkirakan kondisi
even keel dibandingkan dengan kondisi trim aktual Koreksi non linear mempunyai
keakuratan yang lebih baik untuk memperkirakan kondisi even keel dibandingkan
dengan kondisi trim aktual.

In the voyage, the ship will receive a lot of loads, one of which is the compressive force on
seawater. When receiving the load, the structure of the ship will respond to the ship in the
form of stress and bending. This response is dangerous for the ship if it exceeds the allowable
limit. To find out how big the response is, it is necessary to calculate the longitudinal strength.
In the planning stage, the ship is assumed to be in calm water conditions and waves with even
keel conditions. In fact, both in the planning and operational stages of the ship, it is difficult to
get even keel conditions. Therefore, it is necessary to calculate the longitudinal strength of the
ship in trim conditions. In this study, the longitudinal strength calculation will be carried out
in the bow trim conditions to determine the effect of the presence of the trim on the
calculation of the longitudinal strength of the ship. In addition, it is also seen whether the
results of the longitudinal strength calculation that have been corrected using linear and nonlinear corrections can approach the results when the conditions are even keel and trim. Based
on the calculation results obtained, it can be stated that the ship will experience a bending
moment and a reduced latitude as the trim condition of the ship increases. The linear
correction result has better accuracy in estimating the even keel condition than the actual trim
condition. Non-linear correction has better accuracy to estimate the even keel condition
compared to the actual trim condition
