Abstract

Dengan hadirnya ruangan smart home maka dibutuhkan sebuah sistem
terotomatisasi pada ruangan tersebut. Dan dengan adanya perkembangan zaman
yang diiringi dengan perilaku instan dari manusia yang menyebabkan hilangnya
beberapa aspek. Salah satu contohnya adalah masih manualnya penggunaan tirai
atau vertical blind pada ruangan di dalam rumah untuk mendapatkan natural
lightning. Hal ini menyebabkan rasa malas untuk membuka atau menutup tirai
tersebut. Padahal pengaturan bukaan tirai tersebut sangat berperan penting dalam
menentukan tingkat kenyamanan thermal dan kenyamanan visual pada
ruangan. Lalu dengan adanya smart home maka memungkinkan bahwa penerapan
teknologiotomasi pada bukaan tirai seperti vertical blind bukanlah hal yang tidak
mungkin. Denganmenggunakan sebuah kontroler terprogram maka sistem buka dan
tutup tirai dapat terwujud secara otomatis. Memanfaatkan respon input dari
sensortemperatur dan intensitas cahaya untuk menggerakkan aktuator seperti
motor stepper diharapkan mampu meningkatkan tingkat kenyamanan visual dan
kenyamananthermal pada ruangan khususnya pada smart home.

With the presence of the smart home system, an automated system is needed in that
room. And with the development of the times accompanied by instant behavior
fromhumans which causes the loss of several aspects. One example is the manual
use ofblinds or vertical blinds in the room to get natural lightning. This causesa
feeling of laziness to open or close the curtain. Even though the arrangement of the
curtain opening plays an important role in determining the level of thermal comfort
and visual comfort in the room. Then with the smart home system, it is possible that
the application of automation technology to curtain openings such as vertical blinds
is not impossible. By using a programmed controller, the curtain open and close
system can be realized automatically. Utilizing the input response from temperature
and light intensity sensors to move actuators such as stepper motors is expected to
increase the level of visual comfort and thermal comfort in the room, especially in
smart home.
