Abstract

Jaringan tegangan menengah (TM) digunakan untuk mengalirkan energi listrik dari gardu induk menuju konsumen besar, seperti konsumen industry, yang salah satunya melalui penyulang 20 kV. Konsumen industri pada umumnya menggunakan peralatan produksi yang bersifat non-liner sehingga menyebabkan distorsi harmonisa pada sistem. Guna mengurangi distorsi harmonisa, maka dipergunakan filter harmonisa. Dalam pengoperasian normal, filter harmonisa tidak digunakan di setiap saat, melainkan pada waktu terdeteksi harmonisa yang melewati batas standar yang berlaku. Tugas akhir ini menganalisis fenomena switching open pemutus tenaga filter harmonisa dengan menggeserkan waktu pembukaan kontak pemutus tenaga. Simulasi dilakukan pada perangkat lunak ATPDraw. Pada model sistem distribusi 20 kV, diketahui filter harmonisa tipe single-tuned yang diatur pada orde 3 dan waktu pembukaan kontak 65 ms memiliki nilai puncak TRV tertinggi sebesar 45,36 kV dalam waktu 11,6 ms pada fasa B. Selain orde filter harmonisa, waktu pembukaan kontak pemutus tenaga juga dapat mempengaruhi nilai puncak TRV yang dibangkitkan.

Medium voltage grid, such as 20 kV system, is used to channel electricity from substation to big customers such as factories. In general, factories use production equipment that has the characteristic of non-linear load thus resulting in harmonic distortion on the system. In order to mitigate the harmonic distortion, harmonic filters are introduced to the system. In a normal operation scheme, harmonic filters are not always used. It’s switched on when the detected harmonic distortion passes the limit of a certain relevant harmonic standards. This final project analyzes the peak TRV and the time it takes to reach peak TRV during switching open phenomenon of a circuit breaker feeding the harmonic filters by moving the circuit breakers poles opening time. The simulation is done using a software named ATPDraw. On a 20 kV distribution model used for the final project, a single-tuned type harmonic filter that is tuned to the 3rd order with poles opening time of 65 ms has the highest results. The TRV peak of said filters reaches 45,36 kV with the time to reach peak TRV of 11,6 ms on phase B. Aside from the harmonic order and tuned harmonic filter, the opening time of poles also affects the peak TRV produced.
