Abstract

Revetment merupakan bangunan pada garis pantai atau di daratan yang digunakan untuk melindungi pantai langsung dari serangan gelombang. Revetment adalah bangunan yang memisahkan daratan dan perairan pantai yang mempunyai fungsi utama sebagai pelindung pantai terhadap erosi dan limpasan gelombang ke daratan. Lapisan pelindung pada struktur pantai merupakan salah satu bagian penting dalam desain. Kesalahan perhitungan dalam desain berat unit lapis pelindung dapat mengakibatkan kegagalan struktur. Pada penelitian ini akan dilakukan pengujian stabilitas unit lapis pelindung BPPT Lock untuk revetment. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen uji model fisik di laboratorium dengan variasi sudut kemiringan struktur dengan unit lapis pelindung BPPT Lock. Dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan didapatkan hasil bahwa sudut kemiringan struktur 1 : 1,15 memiliki stabilitas yang paling buruk dan sudut kemiringan struktur 1 : 2 merupakan sudut kemiringan yang paling stabil untuk variasi tinggi gelombang yang telah ditentukan dalam pengujian. Daerah yang mengalami kerusakan merupakan daerah run up dan run down. Pada variasi sudut kemiringan struktur 1 : 1,15 dengan tinggi gelombang 16 cm terjadi kerusakan sebesar 8,99%, sedangkan pada sudut kemiringan struktur 1 : 1,5 dan 1 : 2 terjadi kerusakan masing-masing sebesar 5,42% dan 2,56% untuk tinggi gelombang yang sama.

Revetment is a building on the shoreline or on land which is used to protect the coast directly from wave attack. Revetment is a building that separates land and coastal waters which has the main function as a coastal protector against erosion and wave overtopping. Protective layer on the coast structure is an important part of the design. A miscalculation in the weight design of the armor unit may result in structural failure. In this study, the stability test of the BPPT Lock protective layer unit for revetment will be carried out. This research uses an experimental method of testing physical models in the laboratory with variations in the angle of the structure with a protective layer unit BPPT Lock. From the research that has been done, it is found that the slope angle of the structure 1: 1.15 has the worst stability and the slope angle of the structure 1: 2 is the most stable slope angle for the variation of wave height that has been determined in the test. The damaged areas are run-up and run-down areas. In the variation of the slope angle of the structure 1: 1.15 with a wave height of 16 cm, the damage is 8.99%, while at the slope angle of the structure 1: 1.5 and 1: 2, the damage occurs 5.42% and 2.56% respectively for the same wave height.
