Abstract

Photo Electro Chemical (PEC) based on CsPbBr3 perovskite has potential as a photoanode with various advantages, namely having a more stable crystal structure and luminescence value. However, there is no test related to the optical properties of perovskite to be applied as a photoanode in PEC. This study aims to analyze the effect of variations in heat treatment temperature on particle size optical properties of CsPbBr3 for photoanode applications with temperature variations of 90, 110, and 120 °C. To synthesize CsPbBr3 this study used the Ligand-Assisted Reprecipitation (LARP) method. Tests were carried out to analyze optical properties and particle size with TEM, XRD, UV-Vis and PL, CV and LSV. The results show the formation of CsPbBr3 perovskite particle size which tends to increase up to a temperature of 120°C. Perovskite CsPbBr3 which has been tested using spectrophotometry has stable luminescence properties up to a temperature of 120°C. After the LSV and CV tests were carried out, the cathode anode potential value of the CsPbBr3 perovskite was stable up to a temperature of 120°C but the highest V produced was 2.7 V at a temperature of 110°C. Therefore, with the results obtained, CsPbBr3 perovskite has the potential as a photoanode application.
