Abstract

penggunaan bahan bakar fosil diperlukan energy alternative. Salah satu energy

In recent years the demand for fossil fuels has increased, this can be due to the
depletion of fossil fuel reserves. To reduce the use of fossil fuels, alternative energy is
needed. One alternative energy that can be used to replace fossil fuels is LPG (Liquified
Petroleum Gas). The use of alternative fuels for LPG in diesel engines is done by
converting the diesel engine to dual fuel. This study aims to determine the effect of
injection pressure on the performance of a dual-fuel diesel engine which includes torque,
power, and SFOC. The study used two variations of rotation, namely 1800 and 2000
RPM. As well as variations in loading from 1000, 1500, 2000, 2500, and 3000 watts
Based on the research results, the modified piston for 1800 and 2000 RPM
rotation with dual fuel fuel is better for engine performance. Because it has high power,
high torque, and low fuel consumption. At 1800 RPM the power generated at an injection
pressure of 150 bar is 2.2 kw. For torque of 11.4 Nm. And for the use of fuel 135 g /kWhh.
As for the 2000 RPM rotation at a pressure of 150 bar the power generated is 2.7 kw.
Torque 12 Nm. And the fuel usage is 140 g/kwh. For each change in injection pressure,
the pressure at 150 bar is better than the injection pressure at 200 bar and 250 bar. it
happens in both round variation
