Abstract

Instalasi Gawat Darurat (IGD) merupakan komponen penting dalam pelayanan kesehatan. Komunitas emergency care telah lama menemukan permasalahan di lingkup IGD yang dinamakan overcrowding, yang dapat menimbulkan masalah seperti tertundanya treatment pasien dan meningkatnya tingkat kematian pasien. Hal ini mendorong pengembangan sistem yang dapat mengoptimalkan kinerja IGD. Telah dilakukan pendekatan sebelumnya, yaitu pengembangan sistem informasi mengenai ketersediaan ruangan di rumah sakit pada ruang rawat inap, dimana pergerakan pasiennya tidak sedinamis IGD. Oleh karena itu diusulkan suatu sistem informasi ketersediaan ruang IGD dengan tambahan instalasi input fisik untuk membantu mendapatkan data ketersediaan IGD ter-update tanpa perlunya perhitungan secara manual. Metode yang digunakan adalah penggunaan switch sederhana yang berfungsi sebagai penanda pada setiap tempat tidur IGD mengenai ketersediaan pasien yang dihubungkan secara nirkabel ke database. Sistem juga memiliki perhitungan nilai optimal dengan metode linear programming untuk ketersediaan dari ruang IGD tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang dibuat dapat memperoleh informasi ketersediaan tanpa memerlukan perhitungan manual. Telah diujikan perhitungan nilai optimal dengan tambahan kondisi dimana setiap tempat tidur yang digunakan harus berpasangan dengan alat pendeteksi, setiap tempat tidur menggunakan ruang 12 m2 dan setiap alat pendeteksi menggunakan ruang 1 m2. Pengujian dilakukan dengan asumsi ruangan tersedia sebesar 100 m2, 8 tempat tidur dan 4 alat pendeteksi yang menghasilkan nilai akhir 4. Dilakukan juga survei kepada 21 subjek yang terdiri atas 33% pernah bekerja di lingkup instalasi gawat darurat, seperti tenaga medis, dan 66,6% tidak berprofesi di lingkup tersebut, dengan mengisi kuisioner seputar penggunaan website yang telah dibuat. Didapatkan bahwa 81% responden pernah berada dalam kondisi dimana mereka memerlukan kunjungan rumah sakit secara darurat. Berikutnya, menurut 95,2% responden, website akan membantu mereka dalam kondisi darurat. Terakhir, 71,4% responden mengatakan tidak mengalami kendala selama menggunakan website ini. =================================================================================================== Emergency Department (ED) is a crucial component in healthcare. The emergency care community have long found a problem in the ED which is overcrowding, which can cause problems for both patient and the hospital such as delay of treatment and increased mortality rate. This drives the development of systems that can contribute in optimizing the work done in ED. There have been approaches done such as the development of an information system regarding the availability of rooms in a hospital, especially the inpatient rooms, where patient movement is less dynamic. Hence, a new method regarding an information system that shows the data of ED availability with the installation of a physical input in order to obtain availability data without manual counting is proposed. The proposed method is the usage of a simple switch placed on each bed in the ED, giving information on whether the beds is occupied or not, and is connected wirelessly database. The system also has calculation of an optimal number using linear programming regarding the availability of the ED. Results show that the system is able to obtain information regarding availability of beds while removing the need of manual counting. Tests have been done regarding the optimal value with the additional condition that for every bed used, there must a patient detector available, every bed uses 12 m2 of space and every patient detector uses 1 m2. The tests are done with the assumption of an availability of 100 m2 of room, 8 beds, and 4 detectors, with the final result of 4. A survey also has been done with 21 respondents which consists of 33% that have worked in the ED environment while 66% have not, where they are asked a few questions regarding the website. It has been obtained that 81% of respondents have been in an emergency condition needing emergency care. Furthermore, 95.2% respondents say that the website would help them in emergency conditions, and 71.4% respondents have said that no difficulties were found in the usage of the website.
