Abstract

Untuk menjaga eksistensi, perusahaan dituntut secara keberlanjutan mengembangkan strategi agar mampu bersaing dengan kompetitor. Penelitian ini mengangkat permasalahan yang terjadi pada Perusahaan Jasa Konstruksi kualifikasi kecil. Seperti diketahui bahwa kualifikasi kecil mendominasi jumlah Perusahaan Jasa Konstruksi di Indonesia. Sebesar 75,57% adalah perusahaan kualifikasi kecil, 14,30% kualifikasi menengah, dan perusahaan kualifikasi besar hanya 0.97% dari total perusahaan konstruksi nasional, sedangkan sisanya 9,16% merupakan perusahaan non kualifikasi. Hal ini mengakibatkan persaingan di kualifikaksi kecil cukup tinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif untuk mengembangkan sebuah strategi perusahaan kualifikasi kecil dalam bidang Jasa Konstruksi menggunakan model strategi David. Secara prinsip ada tiga langkah tahapan dalam model strategi David yaitu tahap input stage, matching stage dan decision stage. Sebagai obyek penelitian diambil 3 (tiga) perusahaan, dimana 1(satu) perusahaan kualifikasi menengah sebagai referensi dan 2 (dua) perusahaan kuakifikasi kecil. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan 4 (empat) rekomendasi strategi terpilih yaitu pengembangan pasar (market development) dengan TAS 5.34, pengembangan produk (product developmen) TAS 4.87, diversifikasi terkait (related development) TAS 4.71, diversifikasi tidak terkait (unrelated development) dengan TAS 3.93 yang dapat dijadikan sebagai referensi strategi Perusahaan Jasa Konstruksi kualifikasi kecil dalam menghadapi persaingan dikualifikasi yang sama, maupun dalam upaya untuk naik ke kualifikasi diatasnya (menengah). Kemudian dari strategi alternatif terpilih dibuat Business Model Canvas (BMC) untuk mempermudah pemahaman perusahaan kualifikasi kecil dalam merancang sebuah strategi.

Companies are required to develop strategies to compete with competitors to sustain continuously. This study raises the problems that occur in small qualified Construction Service Companies. It is known that minor qualifications dominate the number of Construction Service Companies in Indonesia. 75.57% are small qualified companies, 14.30% are medium qualifications, and large qualified companies are only 0.97% of the total national construction companies, while the remaining 9.16% are non-qualified companies. This resulted in relatively high competition in small qualifiers. Using David's strategy model, this study uses a qualitative method to develop a strategy for a small qualifying company in the Construction Services sector. In principle, there are three stages in David's strategy model, namely the input stage, matching stage, and decision stage. As the research object, 3 (three) companies were taken, of which 1 (one) medium qualified company as a reference and 2 (two) small qualified companies. The research results obtained 4 (four) selected strategy recommendations, namely market development (market development) with TAS 5.34, product development (product development) TAS 4.87, related diversification (related development), TAS 4.71, diversification unrelated (unrelated development) with TAS 3.93 which can be used as a strategic reference for a Construction Service Company with small qualifications in the face of competition with the same qualifications, as well as to advance to the qualifications above (medium). Then from the chosen alternative strategy, a Business Model Canvas (BMC) is made to facilitate the understanding of small qualified companies in designing a strategy.
