Abstract
PT Pelindo Energi Logistik adalah perusahaan yang berdiri sejak tahun 2014 di Surabaya dan bergerak di bidang distribusi bahan bakar dan gas. PT Pelindo Energi Logistik memiliki misi yang sejalan dengan misi pemerintah untuk meningkatkan perekonomian Indonesia dengan mengembangkan infrastruktur, baik konektivitas maupun ketersediaan energi. PT Pelindo Energi Logistik berhasil tumbuh pesat dan mendapatkan pendapatan besar yang terus meningkat setiap tahunnya, namun terjadi penurunan di tahun 2019 dan 2020. Total pendapatan yang besar seharusnya memudahkan perusahaan untuk melunasi kewajiban jangka pendeknya, namun kondisi perusahaan saat ini menunjukkan bahwa manajemen menghadapi kesulitan dalam melunasi kewajiban jangka pendeknya dan perusahaan memiliki modal kerja bersih negatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis bagaimana pengelolaan modal kerja yang dilakukan oleh PT Pelindo Energi Logistik. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis melakukan observasi lapangan, wawancara dan dokumentasi laporan keuangan untuk mendapatkan semua data yang dibutuhkan. Perhitungan rasio keuangan dan Focus Group Discussion akan dilakukan untuk menganalisis kondisi dan rekomendasi yang dapat diberikan kepada manajemen untuk meningkatkan kinerja pengelolaan modal kerja perusahaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan modal kerja pada PT Pelindo Energi Logistik kurang optimal. Rasio keuangan yang dihitung menunjukkan bahwa ada beberapa masalah yang harus diselesaikan oleh manajemen PT Pelindo Energi Logistik. Hasil Focus Group Discussion yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa manajemen menyadari permasalahan tersebut dan telah membahas beberapa rekomendasi yang dapat diterapkan untuk meningkatkan kinerja pengelolaan modal kerja PT Pelindo Energi Logistik.

PT Pelindo Energi Logistik is a company that was founded in 2014 in Surabaya and is engaged in fuel and gas distribution. PT Pelindo Energi Logistik has a mission that is in line with the government's mission to enhance the economy of Indonesia by developing infrastructure, both connectivity and energy availability. PT Pelindo Energi Logistik managed to grow rapidly and get a large income that continues to increase every year, but there is a decline in 2019 and 2020. Large total income should make it easier for the company to pay off its short-term obligations, but the current conditions of the company show that management is facing difficulties in paying off its short-term obligations and the company has a negative net working capital. This study was conducted to analyze how working capital management is carried out by PT Pelindo Energi Logistik. In this study, author conducted field observations, interviews and documentation of financial statements to obtain all the data needed. Calculation of financial ratios and Focus Group Discussion will be conducted to analyze conditions and recommendations that can be given to management to improve the performance of the company's working capital management. The results showed that the working capital management at PT Pelindo Energi Logistik is less than optimal. The calculated financial ratios show that there are several problems that must be resolved by the management of PT Pelindo Energi Logistik. The results of the Focus Group Discussion that have been carried out show that management is aware of these problems and has discussed several recommendations that can be implemented to improve PT Pelindo Energi Logistik's working capital management performance.
