Abstract

Manajemen persediaan di dalam industri perawatan pesawat terbang
memegang peranan penting untuk menjaga kestabilan operasional, baik aspek
operasional pesawat maupun aspek perawatan pesawat. Delay dan
cancellation perlu diperhatikan agar maskapai pesawat terbang dapat
terhindar dari biaya pembayaran kompensasi penumpang yang cukup tinggi
serta menjaga citra baik perusahaan. Pada tahun 2018 terdapat delay karena
aspek teknis sebanyak 354 kali dimana 17 kali (4.8%) diantaranya
disebabkan karena ketidak tepatan penentuan Allotment Spare dan 2 kali
(0.56%) diantaranya diakibatkan oleh komponen Wheel dan Brake. Selain
karena delay, permasalah inventory Wheel dan Brake perlu diperhatikan
karena menjadi inventory pada 42 dari 46 stasiun dimana pesawat B737-
800Ng dioperasikan. Tesis ini dilaksanakan mengenai permodelan dan
analisis pada PT GMF AeroAsia, sebuah perusahaan penyedia layanan jasa
perawatan pesawat terbang di Indonesia. Rantai pasok yang dipertimbangkan
mulai dari workshop sebagai penyedia komponen rotable, kemudian gudang
sentral sebagai tempat penyimpanan komponen sampai akhirnya dikirim di
seluruh gudang bandara yang merupakan tujuan pesawat tersebut
dioperasikan. Permodelan simulasi digunakan untuk memodelkan
kompleksitas aliran material pada sepanjang rantai pasok tersebut, sekaligus
sebagai alat bantu analisis dan pengambilan keputusan untuk mengetahui
solusi yang terbaik dalam kasus allotment spare. Beberapa skenario
eksperimen dianalisis untuk mengetahui jumlah spare dan waktu pemrosesan
terbaik di masing-masing titik rantai pasok. Desain skenario difokuskan pada
metode pemenuhan komponen dari gudang sentral ke gudang produksi.
Model skenario terpilih mampu mengurangi jumlah shortage allotment spare
menjadi 17.67% dari model awalnya.

Inventory management in the aircraft maintenance industry has an important
role in maintaining operational stability, both aspects of aircraft operations
and aspects of aircraft maintenance. Delays and cancellations need to be
considered so that airlines can avoid the high cost of paying passenger
compensation and maintain the company's brand image. In 2018 there were
delays due to technical aspects as much as 354 times of which 17 times (4.8%)
were due to the inaccurate determination of Allotment Spare and 2 times
(0.56%) of which were caused by Wheel and Brake components. Specifically
in term of delays, Wheel and Brake inventory problems become potential
concern to be evaluated because they are inventory in 42 out of 46 stations
(91%) where come from the aircraft type, B737-800NG. This thesis was
conducted on modeling and analysis at PT GMF AeroAsia, as the biggest
aircraft maintenance service provider company in Indonesia. In this thesis the
supply chain starts from a workshop as a provider of ratable components, then
a central warehouse as a component storage area until finally being sent to all
airport warehouses where the aircraft are operated. Simulation modeling is
used to model the complexity of material flow along the supply chain, as well
as a tool for analysis and decision making to find out the best solution in the
case of allotment spares. Several experimental scenarios were analyzed to
determine the number of spare parts and the best processing time at each
supply chain point. The scenario design is focused on the method of
component fulfillment from the central warehouse to the production
warehouse. The selected scenario model was able to reduce the number of
shortage allocation spares to 17.67% from the initial model.
