Abstract

Pengukuran secara simultan campuran beberapa ion logam dapat memberikan keuntungan bagi efisiensi proses pengukuran. Pada penelitian ini, metode spektrofotometri UV-Vis multivariat diaplikasikan untuk menentukan kadar ion logam Cu(II), Fe(III), dan Ni(II) pada sampel multikomponen. Spektrofotometri UV-Vis multivariat digunakan untuk mengurangi interferensi dan tumpang tindih antar ion logam yang terjadi pada spektrum multikomponen. Metode spektrofotometri UV-Vis multivariat memungkinkan penentuan kadar ion logam Cu(II), Fe(III), dan Ni(II) pada sampel multikomponen tanpa diperlukan adanya pemisahan terlebih dahulu. Selanjutnya, model yang didapat digunakan untuk memprediksi kadar ion logam secara komprehensif. Spektrum dari 25 sampel multikomponen dengan variasi konsentrasi campuran Cu(II), Fe(III), dan Ni(II) dipreparasi untuk membuat data training set yang akan diolah dalam metode ini. Pemodelan yang didapatkan divalidasi dengan membandingkan hasil prediksi dengan sampel uji yang telah disiapkan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa performa dari model yang telah dihasilkan dari metode spektrofotometri UV-Vis multivariat untuk menentukan kadar ion logam Cu(II), Fe(III), dan Ni(II) secara simultan pada sampel multikomponen telah memenuhi standar analisis dan berhasil diaplikasikan secara akurat. =================================================================================================== The simultaneous determination of a multicomponent metal ions can improve the efficiency of measurement significantly. The levels of Cu(II), Fe(III), and Ni(II) in multicomponent samples were determined using a multivariate UV-Vis spectrophotometric technique in this work. The interference and overlap signal between metal ions in multicomponent spectra were eliminated and compensated by multivariate UV-Vis spectrophotometry. The multivariate UV-Vis spectrophotometric approach capable to determine the concentration of Cu(II), Fe(III), and Ni(II) in multicomponent samples without prior separation. Furthermore, the model that developed can be utilized to comprehensively predict metal ion levels in the unknown or sample solution. The training data sets for this method were consist of 25 spectra of Cu(II), Fe(III), and Ni(II) solutions. The model was validated using synthetic unknown solution. The results show that the model obtained from the multivariate UV-Vis spectrophotometric capable to determine the concentration of Cu(II), Fe(III), and Ni(II) in multicomponent samples simultaneously. The prediction met the analysis standard and can be applied accurately.
