Abstract

Kebutuhan akan mempersiapkan dana masa depan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan kita, dana darurat ketika berada pada kondisi extraordinary seperti pandemi, dan mempunyai investasi di masa recovry merupakan hal yang sangat penting dan perlu disadari oleh semua orang terlebih generasi muda. Di era serba digital seperti sekarang, Generasi Digital Native atau sering disebut Gen Z yang lahir pada tahun 1995 – 2009 merupakan generasi global, sosial, visual, dan teknologi. Salah satu bentuk perilaku pembelian yang berkembang pesat pada Gen Z adalah perilaku pembelian hedonis yang berdasarkan pada aspek kesenangan, melibatkan sensori, dan di luar kebutuhan. Berdasarkan latar belakang diatas, diperlukan sebuah media yang dapat dijadikan sarana edukasi bagi Gen Z agar dapat menekan sifat konsumtifnya dan memulai mengalokasikan ke sesuatu yang bersifat memberikan manfaat di masa mendatang, dengan berinvestasi saham sebagai edukasi.
Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif yang meliputi studi literatur, dan eksisting untuk mendapat teori yang digunakan sebagai panduan, serta data terkait objek dan subjek penelitian. penulis melakukan studi eksperimental untuk merancang konsep dan desain dan menghasilkan prototype, lalu dilakukan user test kepada target audiens yaitu Gen Z usia 20-25 tahun melalui metode kualitatif berupa link kuisioner. Selanjutnya depth interview terhadap ahli animasi dan saham untuk mendapatkan kritik, saran dan masukan pendukung. Tahap terakhir dilakukan evaluasi untuk menghasilkan animasi final
Perancangan ini menghasilkan video animasi eksplainer dengan teknik Cut-Out, terdiri dari 2 part dengan konsep dan pesan utama yang sama. Format video beresolusi 1920x1080 29,97fps dan durasi 4 menit. Perancangan ini memiliki 7 part topik pembahasan, saat ini penulis hanya mengeksekusi part 1 “Mempersiapkan dana masa depan” dan part 2 “Saham itu apasih?” menjadi video animasi eksplainer. Dalam strategi media kedepannya, part selanjutnya akan dieksekusi dalam bentuk kombinasi animasi dan podcast live shoot untuk menjaga konsistensi produksi secara rutin dan cepat. Dari perancangan ini diharapkan Gen Z dapat lebih teredukasi tentang pentingnya mempersiapkan dana masa depan dari sekarang, dengan berinvestasi saham agar dapat memberikan manfaat dimasa yang akan datang.

The need to prepare future funds to meet our needs, emergency funds when in extraordinary conditions such as the pandemic, and having an investment in the recovery is very important and needs to be realized by everyone, especially the younger generation. In the digital era like now, the Digital Native Generation or often called Gen Z who was born in 1995 – 2009 is a global, social, visual, and technological generation. One form of buying behavior that is growing rapidly in Generation Z is hedonic buying behaviour that is based on the pleasure aspect, involves sensory, and is beyond need. Based on the background, we need a media that can be used as an educational tool for Gen Z to have an understanding of suppressing their consumptive nature and start to allocate it to something that is more beneficial in the future by investing in stocks.
The method used in this research is qualitative which includes literature and existing study to obtain the theory that is used as a guide, as well as data related to the research object and subject. The author then conducts an experimental study to deliver concepts and designs as well as prototypes, followed by doing user tests on the target audience, namely Gen Z aged 20- 25 years through a qualitative method in the form of a questionnaire link. Furthermore, depth interviews with animation and stock experts are conducted to get criticism, suggestions and supporting input. The final stage is to conduct evaluation to produce the final animated video.
This design produces an explanatory animation video with the Cut-Out technique, consisting of 2 parts that have one concept with the same main message. The video format has a resolution of 1920x1080 29.97fps and a duration of 4 minutes. This design has 7 parts of discussion topics, currently the author is only executing part 1 titled “Mempersiapkan Dana Masa Depan” and part 2 titled “Saham Itu Apasih?” into an explanatory animation video. For the future media strategy, the next part will be executed in the form of a combination of animation and live shoot podcasts to maintain consistent and fast production. From this design, it is hoped that Gen Z can be more educated about the importance of preparing future funds from now on, by investing in stocks so that they can provide benefits in the future.
