Abstract

Wabah Covid-19 telah melanda dunia sejak tahun 2019 silam. Tercatat dengan jumlah kasus Covid-19 yang semakin tinggi, menyebabkan risiko transmisi Covid-19 yang semakin tinggi. Risiko transmisi Covid-19 semakin diperparah bagi tenaga medis, dimana tenaga medis memiliki resiko 3 kali lebih besar untuk tertular Covid-19. Karena risikonya yang semakin tinggi, maka diciptakanlah sebuah stretcher yang mampu mengurangi resiko penularan Covid-19 dengan menggunakan sistem Negative Pressure Isolation(NPIS). Dengan kehadiran sistem NPIS, maka udara yang dikeluarkan dari dalam Stretcher isolasi akan disaring terlebih dahulu menggunakan HEPA filter sehingga udara yang dikeluarkan sudah berupa udara bersih yang tidak mengandung virus Covid-19. Dengan adanya Stretcher Isolasi untuk pemindahan pasien Covid-19 dengan sistem Negative Pressurre Isolation diharapkan dapat mengurangi risiko penularan Covid-19 ke lingkungan sekitar pasien selama proses pemindahan pasien Covid-19 dari rumah pasien ke sarana isolasi, baik untuk tenaga medis, maupun orang yang tinggal disekitar rumah dari pasien.

Covid-19 outbreak has hit the World since 2019. It is noted that with the increasing number of Covid-19 Cases, the risk of Covid-19 infection and transmission also increases. The risks of being infected by Covid-19 is further exacerbated for medical personnel. Medical Personnel have 7 times greater risks of having heavy symptoms from Covid-19 while based on BMJ Journal, Medical Personnel has 3 times higher risks of infected by Covid-19. Due to the higher risks, a patient transporting method are needed that reduces of Covid-19 transmission and therefore are created by using the system of Negative Pressure Isolation System (NPIS). With the Negative Pressure Isolation System, the air released from the stretcher will be filtered using HEPA filter so that the released air are actually clean air from SARS COV-2 Viruses. With Usage of Isolation Stretcher for Covid-19 Patient Transport Using the Negative Pressure Isolation System, it is hoped that it can reduces the risks of infecting patient’s environment during the process of transferring Covid-19 patients from their house to hospital or isolation stretcher, both for medical personnel and people who lives around the patient
