Abstract

Generator BLDC (brushless direct curent) merupakan generator dengan konstruksi sederhana, memiliki keandalan, dan densitas power yang tinggi. Oleh karena itu bisa menjadi alternatif terhadap masalah listrik di Indonesia. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan karakteristik listrik dan mekanik dari generator BLDC. Generator dibuat dengan ukuran 20 x 20 x 4 cm. tersusun atas stator yang memuat 9 kumparan silinder dengan diameter 2 cm dan tebal 2 cm yang dibuat dari tembaga berdiameter 0,6 mm. 2 rotor berisi magnet permanen 8 buah berdiameter 2 cm dan tebal 1 cm. Stator dan rotor disusun secara aksial. Generator diuji menggunakan motor dc 24 V pada putaran dibawah 1500 rpm. Torsi pengereman dan daya mekanik diukur menggunakan metode rope brake. Hasil dari pengujian listrik didapatkan nilai daya optimal pada rpm 800 (48,4 ± 0,1 mW) dengan arus (86,5 ± 0,1 mA) dan tegangan ( 560 ± 1 mV), pada rpm 1000 menghasilkan tegangan (1,280 ± 0,001 V) tanpa pembebanan dan arus (148,5 ± 01 mA) dengan beban 11,2 Ω. pada putaran 500 rpm diperlukan torsi (0.049 ± 0,001 Nm) dan pada putaran 1450 rpm torsi sebesar (0.360 ± 0,001Nm)

BLDC generator (brushless direct curent) is a generator with simple construction, reliability, and high power density. Therefore, it can be an alternative to electricity problems in Indonesia. This paper aims to provide the electrical and mechanical characteristics of the BLDC generator. The generator is made with a size of 20 x 20 x 4 cm. composed of a stator containing 9 cylindrical coils with a diameter of 2 cm and a thickness of 2 cm made of copper with a diameter of 0.6 mm. 2 rotors containing 8 permanent magnets 2 cm in diameter and 1 cm thick. The stator and rotor are arranged axially. The generator was tested using a 24 V dc motor at rotation below 1500 rpm. Braking torque and mechanical power were measured using the rope brake method. The results of the electrical test obtained an effective power at 800 rpm (48,4 ± 0,1 mW) with voltage (560 ± 1 mV) and current (86,5 ± 0,1 m A), at 1000 rpm get voltage value (1,280 ± 0,001 V) without load and current (148,5 ± 01 mA) with 11,2Ω load. At 500 rpm the torque is needed (0.049 ± 0,001 Nm) and at 1450 rpm the torque is (0.360 ± 0,001Nm)
