Penelitian ini menggunakan pembangkitan tegangan tinggi DC, akrilik chamber, konduktor, dan osiloskop. Pada akrilik chamber terdapat elektroda jarum-plat. Data corona discharge didapatkan dari osiloskop yang kemudian dianalisa dengan metode PSA melalui aplikasi matlab. Hasil analisa PSA dipresentasikan dalam bentuk grafik perbedaan waktu terhadap perbedaan arus. Grafik tersebut mengandung persebaran titik PD. Persebaran titik PD adalah konsentrasi jumlah pulsa yang diparameterkan melalui warna pada titik PSA. Didapatkan hasil PSA menggunakan jarum kuningan yaitu ketika warna kuning pada jarak 0,6 cm didapatkan jangkauan 18.000 jumlah pulsa, pada jarak 0,8 didapatkan jangkauan 12.000-14.000 jumlah pulsa, dan pada jarak 1 cm didapatkan jangkauan 12.000 jumlah pulsa. Sama halnya untuk parameter warna yang lain, Pada jarak 0,6 cm didapatkan jangkauan jumlah pulsa yang lebih besar dari jarak 0,8 cm, dan jarak 1 cm. Banyaknya jumlah suatu pulsa memengaruhi besarnya suatu frekuensi. Hal ini sesuai dengan hasil pengujian yang didapat, yaitu bila nilai frekuensi akan mengecil bila jarak semakin besar. Dibuktikan dari salah satu data pengujian jarum kuningan pada jarak 0,6 cm, 0,8 cm, dan jarak 1 cm mendapatkan nilai frekuensi berturut-turut 2450 kHz, 1845 kHz, dan 1201 kHz.
This research uses DC high voltage generator, acrylic chamber, conductor, and oscilloscope. The corona discharge data was obtained from an oscilloscope which was then analyzed using the PSA method through the matlab application. The results of the analysis of the PSA method are presented in the form of a graph of the time difference to the current difference. The graph contains the distribution of PD points. The distribution of PD points is the number of pulses parameterized by color at the PSA points. PSA results were obtained using a brass needle, that is, when the color is yellow at a distance of 0.6 cm, a range of 18,000 pulses is obtained, at a distance of 0.8, a range of 12,000-14,000 pulses is obtained, and at a distance of 1 cm, a range of 12,000 pulses is obtained. As with the other color parameters, at a distance of 0.6 cm, a range of the number of pulses is obtained that is greater than a distance of 0.8 cm and a distance of 1 cm. The large number of a pulse affects the magnitude of a frequency. This is in accordance with the test results obtained, namely if the frequency value will decrease if the distance is greater. It is proven from one of the test data of brass needles at distances of 0.6 cm, 0.8 cm and 1 cm distance to obtain frequency values of 2450 kHz, 1845 kHz and 1201 kHz respectively.
