Abstract

Sistem pelumasan merupakan sebuah sistem yang sangat
penting dalam menjaga keandalan gearbox main lube oil pump.
Fungsinya tidak hanya untuk pelumasan kerja saja, tetapi untuk
memindahkan kotoran dan mendinginkan bantalan turbin.
Dalam penelitian ini objek yang digunakan adalah
Gearbox main lube oil pump PLTGU unit 1.3 pada di PT. PJB
UP GRESIK., penelitian dimulai dengan observasi data dan studi
beberapa literature terkait, dilanjutkan dengan mentoring
bersama teknisi predictive maintenance, kemudian dilakukan
pengambilan gambar actual serta data oil used analysis sesuai
dengan SOP (Standard Operational Procedure). Pengambilan
data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode oil sampling.
Setelah dilakukan pengambilan data maka dilakukan analisa dari
data oil used analysis yang didapat berdasarkan standart EPRI
(Electric Power Research Institute).
Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa kerusakan
gearbox main lube oil pump diakibatkan oleh adanya kerusakan
pada gears 4 dan 5 yang mengalami keausan dan patah secara
bertahap sehingga mengakibatkan menurunnya efisiensi pada
kinerja geabox. Setelah dilakukan perawatan dengan
penggantian part gears 4 dan 5 pada gearbox ,uji karakteristik
menunjukkan pada kondisi normal dengan ferrous index adalah
73,6 menurun menjadi 0.0 serta nilai kontaminasi yang
sebelumnya high fault yaitu 21 turun menjadi normal yaitu 14

Lubrication system is a system that is very important in
maintaining the reliability of the main gearbox lube oil pump.
Lubrication function is not only to work, but to remove dirt and
cool the turbine bearings.
In this study the object used is the main gearbox lube oil
pump unit PLTGU 1.3 at PT. PJB UP Gresik., The study began
with the observation data and studies some related literature,
followed by a joint mentoring predictive maintenance technician,
then do the actual shooting as well as data analysis of used oil in
accordance with SOP (Standard Operating Procedure). Data
were collected using sampling oil. After data collection, the
analysis of the data analysis of used oil obtained by standard
EPRI (Electric Power Research Institute).
The result showed that the damage to the main gearbox
lube oil pump caused by the damage to the gears 4 and 5 are
experiencing gradual wear and fracture which resulted in a
decreased efficiency in the performance of geabox. After
treatment with replacement parts gears 4 and 5 on the gearbox,
the test showed the characteristics under normal conditions with
ferrous index was 73.6 decreased to 0.0 and the value of the
previously high contamination fault is 21 drops to normal is 14.
