Abstract

Kemacetan yang semakin parah di jalan perkotaan terjadi
karena jumlah kendaraan yang semakin meningkat tiap tahun dan
tidak diimbangi dengan perlebaran jalan yang memadai. Pada saat
terjadi kemacetan pergerakan dari mobil sangat terbatas
sementara untuk motor mampu bergerak leluasa. Hal tersebut
disebabkan dimensi mobil yang lebih lebar dibandingkan motor.
Namun mobil mempunyai tingkat keamanan dan kenyamanan
yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan motor. Sehingga perlu
dirancang sebuah kendaraan yang menggabungkan kelebihan
yang dimiliki oleh motor dan mobil yang dapat mengurangi
kemacetan lalu lintas. Narrow three wheel vehicle atau sering
disebut juga dengan tilting three wheel vehicle adalah kendaraan
yang merupakan gabungan dari mobil dan motor. Kendaraan ini
mampu bermanuver dengan lincah seperti motor tetapi memiliki
nilai kenyamanan dan keamanan yang lebih tinggi seperti mobil.
Pada tugas akhir ini akan dilakukan analisa sistem
pengereman pada Narrow Three wheel vehicle. Secara garis besar
sistem pengereman kendaraan terdiri dari pedal rem, master
silindel, kaliper, brake pad, rotor dan proportional valve. Sistem
pengereman pada Narrow Three wheel vehicle menggunakan
mekanisme lock dimana sistem rem dapat mengunci roda saat
dilakukan pengereman. Langkah awal penelitian dilakukan
dengan menganalisa kebutuhan pengereman kendaraan Narrow
Three wheel vehicle. Kemudian memilih komponen-komponen
rem yang terdapat dipasaran sesuai kebutuhan Narrow Three
wheel vehicle. Sistem pengereman yang terdapat dipasaran

diantaranya beat pgm f1, CBR 150 R, supra x 125, kawasaki
pulser 250 NS, new vixion lighting, dan tiger revo.
Hasil yang didapatkan dari tugas akhir ini adalah sistem
pengereman yang dapat digunakan untuk rem depan adalah
sistem pengereman dari motor beat PGM F1,kawasaki pulser 250
NS, new vixion lighting, atau tiger revo. Sedangkan untuk rem
belakang dapat menggunakan sistem pengereman dari motor
supra x 125 atau CBR 150 R. Dimana dari perhitungan di
dapatkan gaya pengereman sudah terpenuhi dengan kebutuhan
gaya pengereman narrow three wheel vehicle. kebutuhan gaya
pengereman Narrow Three wheel vehicle yaitu fbf max sebesar
1855 N dan fbr max sebesar 692 N sedangkan output gaya
pengereman yang ada dipasaran yaitu beat PGM F1 sebesar 2213
N,CBR 150 R sebesar 1071 N,supra x 125 sebesar 910 N,
kawasaki pulser 250 NS sebesar 2166 N, new vixion lighting
sebesar 1969 N,dan Tiger revo sebesar 2386 N.

The congestion is getting worse in urban roads occur
due to the increasing number of vehicles each year and not
offset by widening the road. In the event of congestion from
cars very limited movements while the motor is able to
move freely. This caused the dimensions of the car that is
wider than the motor. But the car has a level of security and
convenience that is higher than the motor. So it needs to be
designed a vehicle that combines the advantages of
belonging to the motor and the car that can reduce traffic
congestion. Narrow three wheel vehicle or often referred to
with the tilting three wheel vehicle is a vehicle that is a
combination of cars and motorcycles. This vehicle is able to
maneuver with such nimble motor but has the value the
convenience and security of such cars.
At the end of this task will be done analysis of braking
system on a Narrow Three wheel vehicle. In the outline of the
vehicle's braking system consists of a brake pedal, master
silindel, caliper, brake pad, rotor and proportional valve. Braking
system on a Narrow Three wheel vehicle using the lock
mechanism where the brake system can lock the wheels when
braking is done. The first step of the research done by analysing
the needs of vehicle braking Narrow Three wheel vehicle. Then

choose the brake components contained the market needs a
Narrow Three wheel vehicle. Braking system that exists in the
market of whom beat pgm f1, CBR 150 R, supra x 125, kawasaki
pulser 250 NS,new vixion lighting, and tiger revo.250 NS,new
vixion lighting, and tiger revo.
The results obtained from this final task is the braking
system that could be used for the front brake is a braking system
of the motor beat PGM F1, kawasaki pulser 250 NS, new vixion
lighting, or tiger revo. As for the rear brake can use the braking
system of the motor supra x 125 or CBR 150 R. where the
calculation of braking style to get in already fulfilled the needs of
narrow braking style three wheel vehicle. Narrow braking style
needs Three wheel vehicle i.e. fbf max of 1855 N and max of fbr
692 N while the output of the existing braking style market i.e.
beat PGM F1 of 2213 N, CBR 150 R of 1071 N, supra x 125 of 910
N, kawasaki 250 NS pulser of 2166 N, new lighting vixion of 1969
N, and Tiger revo of 2386 N.
