Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian mengenai studi gangguan ion As3+ pada analisa besi(III) dengan ligan 1,10-fenantrolin dan tiosianat menggunakan metode spektrofotometri UV-Vis. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya gangguan ion dari As3+ saat ditambahkan dalam kompleks Besi(III)-fenantrolin. Panjang gelombang maksimum Fe(III)-fenantrolin adalah 320 nm. Koefisien korelasi (r) yang diperoleh pada kurva kalibrasi adalah 0,9978. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa ion As3+ mulai mengganggu analisa Fe(III)-fenantrolin pada konsentrasi 0,5 ppm dengan persen(%) recovery sebesar 76,35 % dengan RSD 11,32 ppt dan CV 1,1 %. Panjang gelombang maksimum Fe(III)-tiosianat adalah 458 nm. Koefisien korelasi (r) yang diperoleh pada kurva kalibrasi adalah 0,9992. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa ion As3+ mulai mengganggu analisa Fe(III)-tiosianat pada konsentrasi 0,3 ppm dengan persen(%) recovery sebesar 75,36 % dengan RSD 3,19 ppt dan CV 0,319 %. Konstanta kestabilan senyawa kompleks (Kc) Fe(III)-fenantrolin = 2,8069.10-7 dan Kc Fe(III)-tiosianat = 8,0101.10-14.

A study of As3+ ion interference on iron (III) had been done using 1,10-fenantrolin and thiocyanate by using UV-Vis spectrophotometry. This study was conducted to determine whether there was interference from As3+ ion when it was deliberately added to compound of Iron (III)-fenantrolin. The maximum wavelength of Fe (III)-fenantrolin was 320 nm. The correlation coefficient (r) obtained from the calibration curve was 0.9958. The results showed that As3+ ion began to interfere Fe (III)-fenantrolin analysis at a concentration of 0.5 ppm. Percent recovery obtained during the analysis was 76.35% with RSD of 11.32 ppt and CV of 1.1%. The maximum wavelength of Fe (III)-tiocyanate was 458 nm. The correlation coefficient (r) obtained in the calibration curve was 0.9985. The results showed that ion As3+ ion began to interference in the analysis of Fe (III)-tiocyanate at a concentration of 0.3 ppm with obtained percent recovery was 75.36%, RSD of 3.19 ppt and CV of 0.319 %. The stability constant of this complex (Kc) Fe(III)-fenantrolin was 2,8069.10-7 ,while Kc Fe(III)-tiosianat was 8,0101.10-14.
