Abstract

ZIF-8 (Zeolitic Imidazolate Frameworks-8) dan ZIF-8 pada pendukung silika mesopori (ZIF-8/AM) dengan variasi massa Al-MCM-41 telah berhasil disintesis dengan metode solvotermal pada suhu 120 °C selama 24 jam. Padatan yang diperoleh dikarakterisasi dengan instrumen XRD, FTIR, SEM-EDX, TGA, dan Adsorpsi-desorpsi nitrogen. Hasil XRD menunjukkan bahwa material hasil sintesis memiliki puncak karakteristik yang sama dengan ZIF-8 pada 2θ = 7,30° ; 10,33° ; 12,56° ; 16,45° dan 17,99°. Spektra FTIR ZIF-8 menunjukkan puncak serapan yang sama dengan ZIF-8 referensi. Material ZIF-8 dan ZIF-8/AM100 memiliki morfologi yang sama, yaitu bentuk kotak . ZIF-8 memiliki luas permukaan sebesar 826,017 m2/g dan stabil hingga suhu 294 °C. Sedangkan ZIF-8/AM100 memiliki luas permukaan lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan ZIF-8, yaitu sebesar 1059,265 m2/g dan stabil hingga suhu 304 °C.

ZIF-8 (Zeolitic Imidazolate Frameworks-8) and ZIF-8 on mesoporous support (ZIF/AM) with mass variation of Al-MCM-41 have been succesfully synthesized by solvothermal method at 120 °C for 24 h. The samples were characterized by XRD, FTIR, SEM-EDX, TGA, and nitrogen adsorption-desorption instruments. Result of XRD showed that synthesized materials had characteristic peaks same with characteristic peaks of ZIF-8 at 2θ = 7,30° ; 10,33° ; 12,56° ; 16,45° dan 17,99°. The FTIR spectra of ZIF-8 had same peak with ZIF-8 reference. ZIF-8 and ZIF-8/AM100 had a square shape. The surface area of ZIF-8 was 826,017 m2/g and stable up to 294 °C. While the surface area of ZIF-8 was higher than ZIF-8, that was 1059,265 m2/g and stable up to 304 °C.
