Abstract

Kabupaten Sumenep merupakan daerah paling berpengaruh dalam
berkembangnya kerajaan keraton islam di pulau Madura, sehingga Sumenep
memiliki banyak warisan budaya asli dari masa keraton sumenep yang hingga saat
ini masih dilestarikan yang membedakannya dari budaya daerah lain. Daerah
Sumenep juga memiliki sejumlah potensi pariwisata yang mempunyai ciri khas
tersendiri membedakan dengan potensi pariwisata daerah lainnya, beberapa
destinasi wisata menjadi tren di kalangan netizen, khususnya traveler. Meskipun
begitu, menurut data dari Google Trends, Hasil Penelitian Dinas Pariwisata Jawa
Timur dan hasil kuesioner yang disebarkan secara acak keseluruh kelompok
masyarakat khususnya di pulau Jawa, popularitas destinasi wisata Sumenep masih
direntang bawah dibanding destinasi wisata lain di Jawa Timur seperti Banyuwangi
dan Jember.
Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang daya tarik dan keunikan potensi wisata di
Sumenep dan seperti apa strategi promosi yang sudah ada. Metode penelitian yang
digunakan pada penelitian ini terdiri dari pra riset untuk mengkaji dasar pembuatan
judul dan tahap riset untuk mengkaji konten perancangan. Sumber data penelitian
ini didapat dari observasi langsung, depth interview dengan stakeholder dan segmen pasar serta studi literatur dan eksisting mendalam tentang video seri promosi
pariwisata. Data yang didapatkan nantinya di analisis sebagai acuan perancangan
kali ini.
Hasil luaran dari perancangan ini yaitu 5 video seri promosi wisata sumenep
bertemakan keunikan budaya sumenep dengan konsep one minute fact. Lima
konten video tersebut mewakili setiap budaya yaitu Batik, Keris, Tari Moang
Sangkal, Keraton Sumenep dan Nelayan Sumenep. Diharapkan nantinya
perancangan ini menjadi media promosi pariwisata kabupaten Sumenep untuk
sumber informasi bagi audiens atau wisatawan guna membantu strategi
pengembangan promosi wisata Sumenep oleh Dinas Budaya Pariwiasata.

District sumenep is the regions most influential in the rise of the
islamic kingdom keraton on the island of madura , so sumenep having so
much arnative cultures heritage of the keraton sumenep which until now is
still be preserved that distinguish it from another area of culture .Sumenep
regions also has a number of potential tourism which has had the hallmark
of its own that distinguish potential of tourism with other regions , some
tourist destination becomes a trend among netizen , especially a traveler
.But even so , according to data from google trends , the results of the
research department of tourism east java and the results of questionnaires
distributed randomly to all community groups especially in java island , the
popularity of tourist attractions spanned sumenep still lower than other
tourist destinations in east java as banyuwangi and jember .
This research looked at about attraction and uniqueness tourism
potential in sumenep and what a strategy of promotion existing .The
methodology used to research it consists of pre research to assess the basis
of making title and the research to assess content design .The data of this
research obtained from direct observation , depth interview with
stakeholders and segments markets as well as existing literature study and deep on video series tourism promotion .The data gathered later in analysis
as reference design this time .
The results of the outer covering of design is 5 video series
promotions sumenep with titled unique culture of sumenep with one minute
fact video. Five video content representing such every culture that batik ,
kris, moang sangkal dance, keraton sumenep and fishermen sumenep .It is
expected that the design is a media district tourism sumenep to a source of
information for the audience or travelers to help development strategy
sumenep promotions department tourism of culture.
