Abstract

pecah. Apabila tidak segera mendapatkan pertolongan pertama,
stroke dapat berakibat fatal dan mengakibatkan kematian.
Laboratorium Perancangan dan Pengembangan Produk sejak
tahun 2014 telah mengembangkan sepeda khusus untuk
rehabilitasi pasien pasca stroke.
diproduksi massal. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan evaluasi dan
pengembangan agar tercipta sebuah desain sepeda pasca stroke
kestabilan sepeda ketika berbelok, ditambahkan differential gear
pada poros belakang sepeda pasca stroke. Rangka sepeda pasca
stroke mampu dibuat dan dirakit. Waktu proses permesinan dan
pembentukan yang dibutuhkan mencapai 105.564menit. Proses
permesinan yang digunakan diantaranya cut-off, mitter cut, dan
face milling, sedangkan proses pembentukan yang digunakan
adalah proses bending. Proses perakitan yang digunakan untuk
menyambung pipa aluminium adalah proses pengelasan dengan
menggunakan las Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG).

Stroke is brain function disorder caused by blocked or
ruptured blood vessels in the brain. If not quickly get a first aid, a
stroke can be fatal and result in death. Since 2014, Product
Design and Development Laboratory has developed a special
bike for rehabilitation of poststroke patient . Of the three bikes
that have been made, all using three wheels where two wheels in
front and one behind the wheel. In the last bike development
there is still a shortage that caused bike not fit for mass
production. Therefore, evaluation and development is necessary
in order to create a new post stroke bike design that safe (strong
and stable), ergonomic and economical.
As a first step, field studies conducted in the form of direct
observation in medical rehabilitation department on Dr. Soetomo
Hospital. After that, evaluation conducted on last post-stroke bike
developed by Sandy, et al. (2016). After the study, it is known
that bike with two front wheels have flaws that are difficult to
steer. Besides dangerous when used public road, the heavy
steering is causing upper arm muscles to work harder and
potentially cause hypertension for post stroke patients. One
alternative that could be the solution is change the design of post
stroke bike with two wheels in front and one rear wheel (Tadpole
concept) into a single front wheel and two rear wheels (Delta
concept). From the results studies above, its decided to create a
new post stroke bike design using the Delta concept.
From the analysis result of post stroke bike frame design
using Delta concept, it is known that the designed bike has
RULA value of 3 which means the post-stroke bike has a low
risk of injury. Based on calculations, the greatest stress on poststroke
bike is 24.7MPa. The material selected for use is
aluminum that has a yield strength of 270MPa. Aluminium
chosen because it is light, the price is relatively cheap, easily
welded and does not easily corroded. To increase bike stability
when turning, differential gear was added on post stroke bike rear
shaft. Post stroke bike frame is manufacturable and assembled.
Time needed for machining and forming processes theoritically is
105.564 minute. Machining processes used include cut-off, mitter
cut, and face milling, while the forming process used is the
bending process. Assembly process that is used to connect the
aluminum pipes is the welding process using a Tungsten Inert
Gas (TIG).
