Abstract

Inverter is one of the most important thing on Distributed Generator System (DG System), with the main task is to convert from DC Voltage to AC Voltage. Tthere are many type of inverter, Single Phase Buck Boost Inverter with Buffer Inductor (SPBBI-BI) is one of them. The advantage of SPBBI-BI is it has an output voltage five times higher than input voltage. Sliding Mode Control (SMC) is one of the control method that often used in control of Converter, Inverter, Motor and robotic system. SMC has a robust behavior that insensitif to parameter change. This Final Project enlight about implementation of SMC control in SPBBI-BI through simulation in Simulink MATLAB R-2009A and Power Simlutaor Version 9..0.3. System tested in 3 ways which is open loop, closed loop and sensitivity test. On the open loop test with 60 volt input voltage, SPBBI-BI has sinusoidal output voltage and the amplitude aproximately at 400 volt. On the closed loop test, SPBBI-BI well being controlled according to setpoint feed on orde 2 SMC with minimum 1.02% Ess at 311 Volt Setpoint. On the Sensitivity test which is vary the value of input voltage and Resistance load, system sensitivity became lower if change in 2 parameter getting higher, with minimum sensitivity is 0.29 if input voltage change 32% and 0.00002 if resistance change 3700%.
